Chameleon Template from Underdark is +1, gives a +10 racial bonus to Hide checks, +4 to Move Silently, climb speed equal to 1/2 fastest non-flying speed (if only flying, the climb speed of 10 ft), and 10ft reach on touch attacks only. Not bad for a stealthy character.

I am constantly amazed by how many DM's ban Tomb of Battle. The book doesn't even exist! Quotes: By yes, she means no.

Why would you even do this? It hurts my eyes and looks like you ate your keyboard before suffering an attack of explosive diarrhea. If using Genesis to hide your phylactry, set it at -300 degrees farenheit. See how do-gooders fare with a liquid atmosphere. |

Is it just me or are there almost no templates/races that are actually good at stealth? HiPS is great and all but it doesn't actually raise your stealth.
Being completely silent and able to fly through/inside walls isn't good at stealth? I meant for stealth checks but yeah, that counts  |

I think he meant "What is Umbral Disciple?" It's a prestige class in Magic of Incarnum. A pretty good one for stealthy characters and, even though it kind of has a Monk feel to it, there is nothing mechanically trying to tie in the Monk class. It's a good option for them, though. |

It's a good option for them, though. On a reread that makes more sense. @daken, sorry! The main thing is the level 3 ability that grants permanent 10% miss chance for each Essentia added. And it does so by "cloaking you in an obscuring shadow." Therefore, even in Daylight and stuff, you're cloaked in shadow. |

Being completely silent and able to fly through/inside walls isn't good at stealth? I'm going to second Ghost savage progression. 1 LA for effectively +infinity to move silent checks. Ghosts cannot be heard if they don't want to be. Tack on something else for hide checks (say a skulk for +15?) |

wraithstrike? To be a little more specific, it's a tongue with 10 foot reach that can be used to deliver touch attacks. Sorry, but I think Wraithstrike is a no-go. Stormgaurd Warrior might have some fun, though... |
