Whichever, Goldflower isn't much of a strategist with the planning and whatnot.

Doesn't matter that much, but it seems we ought to hurry up and move on.

I'm currently sick as a dog and have a lot of personal stuff to sort out, but I'll try to get some stuff up before the weekend.
Do you guys want the relevant stuff in an easy OOC manner as well, possibly in addition to RP?

I'll either have Kalal tunnel underneath you guys, or travel in light armor with Invisibility from Goldmoon. I guess we can assume that a good starting place would be where ever the "survivor" saw all those hobgoblins at. Hope you get to feeling better. OOC is fine with me. I just want to try and not walk right into another ambush, especially one that might be near their home base.

The colonel is already in light armor and can burrow as well, so she might as well come too.

I can fly and scout great. And I'm totally inconspicuous! I'll be flying over you guys. And I'm fine with an OOC summary.

OOC summary:You've made a positive impression on the townsfolk you've met so far, so here's what they (including the surviving guardsman) can tell you: -There have been at least 3 different warbands around the townsfolks' lands at the same time, each about 15 to 20 strong, so you're dealing with a minimum of 50 Hobgoblins. -The enemy appears to have allied himself with several types of monstrous creatures, including Hellhounds and Manticores. -A dozen town guardsmen weren't strong enough to take care of the Hobgoblins. -In addition to monsters, the goblinoids appear to have at least some spellcasters on their side. -The townsfolk suspect that the enemy's lair is situated somewhere in the Witchwood and have given you directions. If you head into the Witchwood, you're adviced to seek out a man named Jorr, even though his cabin is somewhat out of the way. He's a hunter who knows his way around the local wilderness and might be of some assistance if you can convince him to join you. -Located in the Witchwood is an old ruined castle named Vraath Keep, it could be possible that the goblinoids seized that for their stronghold. It's supposed to be haunted, but the goblinoids might not care. With a succesful Diplomacy check (DC 15), you'll be able to get some minor magical assistance (up to 600 gp worth of potions and/or scrolls provided by the towns' spellcasters). Any questions?

Aye. -There have been at least 3 different warbands around the townsfolks' lands at the same time, each about 15 to 20 strong, so you're dealing with a minimum of 50 Hobgoblins. Does this include the group we killed? With a succesful Diplomacy check (DC 15), you'll be able to get some minor magical assistance (up to 600 gp worth of potions and/or scrolls provided by the towns' spellcasters). Max spell level/caster level on these? In any case, the Colonel will take 10 for a Diplo result of 16.

I'm sorry guys, but my personal issues have taken a turn for the worse during the last couple of days, so I'm afraid I'm going to have to put this game on hold for the time being. I'll be back eventually though, hopefully within 2 weeks time.
Sorry for the inconvenience, Bowen

Sorry for taking so long, guys. Let's just say the excrement hit the ceiling-mounted rotating cooling device.
Anywho, things are going a lot better now, so I should be back to full DM-ing and gaming capacity starting today.
So now for the big question: are you guys still interested in continuing this campaign?

No problem. I'm still around, and despite being in several games, I'm still up for continuing if everyone else is.

Any preference on what happens with Saru when you leave? Agita, Phaedrus, you still game?

Aye. But tonight, I'm thinking of pulling an all-nighter to finish that last damn assignment I have, so don't count on me today or tomorrow before like 8 pm.

Max spell level/caster level on these? In any case, the Colonel will take 10 for a Diplo result of 16. Minimum required CL. Higher CL might be possible (Diplomacy check with a DC of 20), up to the level of the NPC who created it (I'll get back to you on that once I find my RHoD book), but it'll cost extra.

Good luck. What flavor of boot camp? A couple of my close friends were jarheads. They spoke quite highly of Camp LeJune. And yeah, I"m still around. Just got back from a short vacation.
