Oh, right. I was looking at the map where Kalal was too far to flank. Yeah, that probably pretty much ends the encounter. Kalal has 10 foot reach. So even if he'd been over there, he could still flank. Yeah, I keep forgetting that as well. I remembered it just in time to add in Kalal on the AoO's before posting

So, do you guys agree with wrapping up? There's no way that leopard is going to survive a full round of attacks from Yamanu, Kalal and Goldflower's centipede and it's completely trapped...

Aye. Heck, we could just start stabilizing the unconscious gobbos. Without a rider and heavily wounded, it'll probably just flee wherever, and it's not like it can compromise us since it can't talk. And if it does fight to the death, we don't even care because it can't charge and thus can't damage Harika or Kalal worth shit.

And it probably can't even find Yamanu. It feels good to play a stealthy bastard again. XD

In that case... well, it's trapped between the colonel, Kalal, and the centipede. The centipede doesn't matter, and assuming it's a fairly normal leopard, it can only hurt Harika or Kalal at all if it rolls max damage on its bite (and then it's 1 damage per attack). So honestly, Harika could just take out her Blessed Bandages and start stabilizing the unconscious gobbos. She doesn't even care about AoOs.

Let's just assume you guys cleaved it in half between the four of you, it only needs like 10 more damage or so.

Aftter Kalal's spells have been cast, you have the goblin in chain armor and the two of the other goblins stabilized. You can post your interrogations and whatnot in the regular IC thread

You know... now that I think about it, this being magical fairy land and all (i.e. D&D)... we should probably kill that damned cat. Otherwise, some bastard cleric or druid will cast Speak With Animals on it, and find out more info about us than we wanted to give up.

A couple of water benders, a dike, a flaming arrow, and a few barrels of blasting jelly?
Sounds like the makings of a gay porn film.
...thanks

Well, depending on which way it darted into the forest, perhaps Yamanu could simply have stuck it with a dagger to put it out of its misery.

If you want to, we can just say you guys did that. I mean, it's not like it could've gotten away if you didn't want it to.

Speaking of chili... what if we offer them some chili (gotta be nice to POWs) and casually point out that one goblin is missing?

@Phaedrus: about 3.5 to 4 miles if you cut straight through the woods.

That's not too far... but it would still take several hours if you're plowing through heavy undergrowth... We should have brought our mules and horses.

I say let's question them right here.... perhaps out of the road, but not too far... so we can keep going faster...

So, who's going to go all Jack Bauer on this little fellow? Also, had my first RL RHoD session two days ago. Except for the Druid (who ran) it was a TPK... Ofcourse, those two Greatbow crits didn't really help the party's chance of survival, nor did the Crusader taking some 47 damage in round one and dying in the next, or the Sorcerer's short range on his spells... All in all, terrain really is a bitch in that first encounter though.
