I know you mentioned them. Are you saying the images are not an improvement? With Otherworldly or the races in the handbook, they don the benefits of being an Outsider, right?

Wildren (Planar Handbook) are also nice. +4 CON, -2 DEX, -2 CHA, 20' Speed, Dwarven Movement in Armor, Burrow 10', Scent, 2 x 1d4 Claws, Fury (lesser Rage) 1/day, Stability, Can speak with Badgers. All this at +0 LA.

Gloamings can be absurdly fun, especially with the sundark goggles from RoD. I believe they also could make an excellent SCM race due to their affinity for shadow spells.

Wildren aren't actually planetouched. Yes, they are outsiders. Yes, they do have LA+1. No, they aren't described anywhere as planetouched,
Which is why they're beyond the scope of this handbook.

Yeah, they do. I'm not including little values of natural armor because I don't htink it's much of a selling point. Does anyone ever bring up that kobolds have a +1 natural armor?

The only wood genasi I've ever seen have been homebrewed.
The Swyft gets a 7th level SLA... I'm sure that can be used for some early entry arcane casting PrC.

Good point. The CL 9 is pretty good, but the main issue with it is that it's got a base LA of +3. Lesser reduces it, of course, and with buyoff it's an excellent choice, but what LA isn't?

I'm not sure if you are trying to keep this setting neutral.
But I believe in Races of Faruen there are planetouched feats? I belive specificaly for Genasi, assimar, tieflings. I think its 3.0 but they where never updated and i don't remember them being broken. If any thing they where a little under powered. Though i figure there worth mentioning.

A gygaxian dungeon is like the world's most messed up game show.
Behind door number one: INSTANT DEATH! Behind door number 2: A magic crown! Behind door number 3: 4d6 giant bees, and THREE HUNDRED POUNDS OF HONEY! They don't/haven't, was the point. 3.5 is as dead as people not liking nice tits.
Sometimes, their tits (3.5) get enhancements (houserules), but that doesn't mean people don't like nice tits.
Though sometimes, the surgeon (DM) botches them pretty bad...
Best metaphor I have seen in a long time. I give you much fu. Three Errata for the Mage-kings under the sky, Seven for the Barbarian-lords in their halls of stone, Nine for Mortal Monks doomed to die, One for the Wizard on his dark throne In the Land of Charop where the Shadows lie.

So it seems that if you take the lesser tiefling transition to half fiend you are still not considered an outsider.

In Unapproachable East, the Demon Trolls(Mur-Zhagal) are described as planetouched. They blow, but it is needed for the sake of completeness.

Mur-Zhaguls, for reference. If you use the LA set to 0 interpretation, they should be playable for a beatstick, having +14 Str, +6 Dex, +16 Con, +2 Wis, -2 Cha, large size, 3 natural attacks, +10 natural armor, and an obscure regeneration type. With only a single LA reduction, they're still basically unplayable.
