Voice of Hell (SU): When the Abyssal Lyrist makes a perform check, he appropriates the skill of all the musicians of the abyss. This allows the Abyssal Lyrist to make use of the Frightful Presence ability with an activation of using his perform skill. This functions as the ability in the MM glossary, using character level for HD. This ability also grants him a profane bonus to his Perform skill equal to his class level.

Loyal Fanatics: Upon reaching 2nd level, the Abyssal Lyrist has obtained so much fame that he is treated as if possessing the Leadership feat, but does not get a cohort. Causing the death of a follower does not lower an Abyssal Lyrist's Leadership score.

Gift of Baator: A third level Abyssal Lyrist gains a competence bonus to all Bluff, Diplomacy and Sense Motive checks equal to class level.

Incanting Music: At fifth level, the Abyssal Lyrist gains the ability to create spell affects with his music. The Abyssal Lyrist may make a perform check to mimic the effect of any Evil, Vile or Fear spell. Each level of spell has a DC, and the Abyssal Lyrist must still use somatic, material, and focus components unless possessed of a feat that allows him to ignore such components.

This would go well in our Death of an Artist game.  Does +1 caster level normally include artificer progression?

Heh, Tome of Ancient Lore = all spells ever exist with the [Evil] descriptor if they can have it added (such as by adding Violate Spell or some such).  Imagine, shredding on a guitar from a mountain top and producing an Apocalypse From The Sky...now that's bad ass.

Anyway, you might want to put some kind of daily limit on uses of Incanting Music. The ability also needs a CL at which he's casting the spell.

And yes, I think +1 spellcasting includes Artificer infusions.

Sounds like a Lollapalooza my brother and I went to, back in '96. Soundgarden kept playing during a freakin' monsoon-level downpour. Not only did they keep playing, but Chris Cornell walked out right onto the edge of the stage, where he was getting hit full force by it, and turned his face up right into the rain. It was Epic.
