Game Thread - Ganbarimasu! All in a day's work

Shinobu seemed more than her share of happy with the opportunity to get the mistress all to herself for the duration of the trip to school. Not that the occasional schoolgirl wasn't interesting or anything - sera fuku are just that good after all - but her attention was focused on her Ojou-sama. She was only mildly aware that her duty included making sure she wasn't late, however.

[Agita]

With no-one answering the door, the knock is repeated after a few moments, louder and more insistent.

On the way to school, Ojou-sama seems to be alternating between attempting to urge Shinobu on wordlessly by tugging on her sleeve and stopping at random to look at things which might be more fun to do than going to school.

I was going to post this the day before yesterday, but then it turned out my prepaid internet connection had run out. Now I'm back home.

In spite of her major sense of enjoyment at finally being left alone with Ojou-sama, Shinobu knows she has a job to do. Thus, she uses the opportunities Umeko presents when stopping at random to "gently nudge" her about the right path. If she proves stubborn, she apologizes and then pulls on Umeko-sama's ears.

Kittana thought for a moment that Yuuka would get the door, but decides that the poor girl needed to enjoy her time free from Shinobu while she could, and moves for the door. *cinematic* She reaches for the handle...and opens it!

[Negative Zero]

Yuuka simply watches Kittana answer the door, apparently distracted by something. Naturally, her standing still and watching is not as dramatic of a scene.

[Agita]

At the door are two men dressed like electricians. One of them bows and says, "Excuse us. We are here to fix the power. This is the Satou residence, is it not?" For some reason, their baseball caps seem to cast a shadow over their eyes, making their features largely unregonizeable. They both have one hand behind their back.

The mistress responds to being pulled on her ears with an almost inaudible "Owww..." and an adorable expression, but she appears to get the message. Shinobu and her Ojou-sama can hear the school bell ring from afar when they near the gate, meaning they are late, but not terribly so.

"Thou hath the correct locale." Kittana says with a bow. "Cometh inside."
She turns away and starts to walk inside.

Voice sounding familiar? Nonverbal clues? No idea what stat. (1d6=2)
Well, it may not matter with that roll. ^^

Shinobu seems fairly content with the response, though she does find it slightly odd that Ojou-sama didn't blush at all.

"Welcome." Yuuka politely addressed the "electricians", bowing slightly.
"If there is anything you need, let us know."

[Agita]

The two men come in, but they stop in front of the door, as if to block passage. One of them says, "It is her; there is no mistake." You notice that both men are wearing earphones, and they both nod in response to some kind of answer from whoever they were talking to. Suddenly, each of the men is holding a short sword in one hand, and assuming a combat stance. Then, three dark figures crash through the window, having swung themselves from a now-open window in the building on the opposite side of the street. Each of them also has a short sword in hand, and the newcomers bow briefly. One of the men addresses Yuuka. "We have business only with Kittana-san. If you do not interfere, we guarantee that we will not harm you, miss."

Gonna say Cunning off-hand. However, they're already inside. As for nonverbal clues, I suppose the 'hands behind their backs' bit would be hard to miss.
Also, yay grappling hook guns!

The new ninja are not disguised as electricians, so Kittana may or may not recognize them.

Umeko-sama does seem to be blushing, but it's hard to notice at first because she seems to be taking a keen interest in Shinobu's feet - or perhaps she's just looking at the ground. She makes no move to enter the school, however - maybe she's waiting for Shinobu to depart first.

Shinobu does occasionally gaze down at her own feet when Umeko does, trying to find what was so interesting about it.

"Well then, Ojou-sama, have a good day at school." <3 she offers with a slight bow, and walks away...

...until she's sure Umeko cannot see her. She needs to make sure the girl goes to school after all. So she tries to find a convenient location to spy from.

[Agita]

Umeko-sama nods wordlessly as Shinobu departs. When she hides behind a corner and peeks at the school entrance, the maid finds that her mistress has made no move towards entering the school. Instead, she is looking in the direction that Shinobu went off in, and turns to walk in the other direction after a while, apparently sure that the saucy maid is gone.

Kittana automatically assumed a a fencing stance, though she still held no weapon.
"Why dost thou commeth here? Dost thou leader, Blackknife, seek revenge for the scar I gaveth him when last we dueled? Or dost thou have other ill intentions."

She maintains her distance. As long as it remained just a few, she would probably manage. But she didn't want to get into an all out fight where Yuuka could get hurt.

[Kuroimaken]

"Yare yare. Ojou-sama can be such a handful sometimes." Shinobu commented to no one in particular, before sneaking about to see if she could catch Umeko by surprise, like a sneaky angel of justice that totally didn't hide behind the corner.

[Negative Zero]

With an "eep!", Yuuka raised her hands in surrender. "Don't hurt me!"

Clearly trying to avoid being hurt, she fled out of the way, to the corner of the room, ducking as if running through a firefight.

[Agita]

"No," One of the men replies, "You are correct." Suddenly, one of the fake electricians is holding a knife and charges at Kittana. "Stop! Don't attack her alone!" The other electrician tries to stop him, but the first is already aiming a stab at the cat-maid.

You know they're evil because they're using lethal weapons.

Combat time! 1d6=2 Kittana needs to defend, but she basically can't fail assuming she defends with Athletics.
Yuuka is free to do whatever. Cower in fear, go crazy with a chainsaw, do other stuff...

Umeko-sama seems to be wandering aimlessly, possibly preferring anything over going to school. A few peasants turn their heads at a young girl in a school uniform not being at school at this hour, but she seems to be going largely undistubed. The mistress appears to be completely oblivious of her well-intentioned follower, and Shinobu spots several good opportunities to surprise her - such as right now, with Umeko-sama having stopped to look at a random shop window with her back to the maid.

As the knife-wielding electrician heads for Kittana, she leaps up to kick him on the head. Sommersaulting off the first electrician, she reaches towards her chest and the very next moment there's a frying pan in her hand, coming down hard on the electrician who was trying to stop the knife wielder.
As she looks at them in turn, her tail twitches back and forth. "Leaveth now. I relish not cleaning thy blood off the carpet.

It is not without a sense of foreboding that Shinobu sneaks up on her mistress, suddenly appearing behind her with her hands propped against her waist, which coincidentally pushes her chest up quite a bit as she huffs somewhat angrily.

"OJOU-SAMA! Why are you not at school?!"

She seems genuinely pissed. Yet the faintest blush in her cheeks could not betray her innermost thoughts - fantasies of Umeko-sama misbehaving and giving her reason for punishment! Oh, she'd enjoy that --

FOCUS! FOCUS!!

"I perfectly remember leaving you right at the school gates. Why are you here?"

[Negative Zero]

Yuuka, meanwhile, had made herself scarce, hiding behind her folding screen. A moment after Kittana issued her tail-twitchy threat, a familiar sound came out from behind the screen. RNG-NG-NG-NG-NG.. RNG-NG-NG-NG-NG.... RNG-NG-NG..

"I'll be out in a minute!" She announced politely. RNG-NG-NG-NG-NG-NG...

[Agita]

I don't see a problem with you using your maid power, but they're just mooks anyway (as evidenced by them appearing in a group), so alone they don't stand a chance anyway. The 2 stress you take from using your power are negligible as wel, though, since you have 30 Spirit.

The 'electrician' isn't able to enjoy the upskirt view for long as he feels Kittana's heel crashing into the back of his head and tumbles to the ground. The other man doesn't even have time to defend against the knight's onslaught and is swiftly taken out.
"Um..." The remaining three ninja look at each other, then at the folding screen, then at Kittana. Then, they attack her as one, two moving to flank her and the third aiming a flying kick at the catgirl.

One attacks, the other two assist.
...I think more than one character/NPC can assist at a time. Let me know if that's wrong.

Well, that should be easy.

Umeko-sama flinches as Shinobu suddenly raises her voice behind her. She lowers her head, but doesn't say anything or turn around, standing perfectly still and trembling slightly in anticipation of the scolding she is about to get. In the shop's window glass, Shinobu can see her face, showing a strange mix of determination and abject terror - possibly the most expressive face the maid has seen on her ojou-sama yet, although still rather understated.
