Q290: Besides combining it with morphing to get pretty much every weapon ever handy, what other uses are there for Sizing? Barring if the DM is okay with it, I'm afraid you can't simply grow your weapon up to colossal size and beat people up with it. (Of course, an item of Greater Mighty Whallop would probably some most such size-related troubles).
Q291: Can someone point me to a Kalashtar build playable from level 1?

Q292 Is there any way to increase the number of auras a marshal gets? Is there a playbook for them?

One good way to use sizing is to jam a door, giant siz.e quarter staff that runs between the doors and a wall, it's nice and jammed

Kalshatar Psion 20? Kalshatar Incarnate 20? Seriously, could you elaborate a little more?

Sizing is handy for a number of reasons. 1. Shrink that Greatsword of yours down to Fine size when just walking about. Greatly reduced weight and it's easy to hide on your person. When it's time to bash, just pop it out again at your normal size. 2. Say the Fighter get's a Polymorph buff from the wizard to become a War Troll. His weapon is still only Medium sized, causing a proplem. Now the weapon can always be the proper size. 3. Need a snowboard? Just grab that blade of yours and tell it to grow. 4. If you can't think of numerous uses for a Sizing Quarterstaff, you aren't even trying.

I am constantly amazed by how many DM's ban Tomb of Battle. The book doesn't even exist! Quotes: By yes, she means no.
That explains so much about my life. hiicantcomeupwithacharacterthatisntaghostwhyisthatamijustretardedorsomething
Why would you even do this? It hurts my eyes and looks like you ate your keyboard before suffering an attack of explosive diarrhea. If using Genesis to hide your phylactry, set it at -300 degrees farenheit. See how do-gooders fare with a liquid atmosphere.

Q293 Does a Raptoran Cleric (Races of Wild Substitution levels) gain a d6 HD for every cleric level? Or simply levels 1,3, and 7 - (the substitution levels) and gain a d8 normally for every other level?
I believe it is the former but it does not specify in the class description or the Substitution introduction. A little clarification if you please?

IIRC, substitution levels only change your class features for the level you take them at in general.

Q294I cast Scorching Ray metamagicked with Enervate and Empower. I hit alive enemy with my precious ray, and roll for damage 6,4,2,2. What now? (14*1,5)*1,5? What if I add Maximized to the bag? (24+3+2+1+1)*1,5? Q295When I cast my beloved Scorching Fusion Cannon Ray, do I need to assign target for every ray before I roll for attack and damage? Or can I shoot at goblin1, decide to shoot it again if its not dead, or attack goblin2 if first one died? Overkill (and almost-kill ) is not funny in life-or-death situations with more than one dangerous enemy

A294Since Enervate Spell is worded almost identically to Empower (aside from creature type restrictions), I would say that it's applied in the same way. Namely, separately from everything else. Thus, your 14 damage ray is 21 empowered and 28 empowered and enervated. Since Empower Spell only boosts variable values, it is always applied apart from Maximize. So: Maximized, Empowered, Enervated Scorching Ray: 24+2*(4d6*0.5)

Q295 Where can I find information on Wee Jas' Patience Domain? Which two domains are the best to take as a cleric/crusader/ruby knight vindicator, and why? Q296 With that same build, is there any way to get Hide and Intimidate as class skills so I don't have to pay a two skill points to get them? It'll be a human race.

So: Maximized, Empowered, Enervated Scorching Ray: 24+2*(4d6*0.5) Enervate isn't Empower. It may be like Empower, but it isn't Empower. Empower + Maximize is the only specific metamagic combination that interacts in the worst way possible. It is the exception, not the general case. With all other metamagic feats, you apply them in the most favorable order. So I'd say you'd increase the damage by 50% above the Maximized amount for an Enervated, Empowered spell (assuming it is against living targets). Also, although Empower says it only boosts variable amounts, it also boosts the static amounts added to the variables. So an Empowered Magic Missile (CL3) deals (2d4+2)x1.5, not (2d4)x2+2.

Kalshatar Psion 20? Kalshatar Incarnate 20? Seriously, could you elaborate a little more? Sorry, guess I should have at that. I keep hearing Kalashtar monks are pretty sweet, but I haven't that good a grasp on psionics or how to abuse Tashalatora. I suppose I COULD convince my DM to let me apply sizing to my own body for Apache Chief silliness, but I'm not an expert on monks either so I don't know the best ways to go about it.

Countdown to Zombie Apocalypse 97 When you see this, copy it into your sig and -1 Quotes In other words, he thinks there's a "correct" way to play D&D. *sigh* There is: Kill shit and loot the corpse! When you use a tool the way it was designed for -- its intended function -- then it will work very well for you.
But it's not the tool's fault if you use it for something else and you fail utterly, such as trying to eat cereal with a butterknife, pounding nails with a screwdriver, blogging to voice your political opinions, and brushing your teeth with a hammer.

Kalashtar StP Erudite 20 with Tashalatora. The feat, despite builds always including it, doesn't require a single level in Monk, nor does it require it to take it IIRC And unless house-ruled, you have more Unique Powers/Level/Day than you will likely ever know, unless you're playing one of mine EDIT : Also works well on an ardent, and with proper ACF swapping, you can easily make a convincing Super Saiyan. Rage and all.
