Q146 Artificer's can emulate spellcasting to create magic items by making UMD checks. Can they create a scroll of a spell that they've never heard of? Assuming the UMD check can be made and you meet the CL requirement, is there ANY other restriction?

A 146: AFB, so grain of salt; since druid's wildshape specifically calls out familiarity, it must be assumed with any included content. Therefore unless the artificer has errata or additional rules, then familiarity with the spell is not necessary.

Q 147: If I'm reading Molten Strike (Heroes of Battle) correctly, there is no reflex save for the intial damage, only the secondary?

A146: A character can talk about anything, so they could certainly talk about a spell they never heard of.
Whether or not this can be considered forbidden levels of metagaming is up to how lenient your DM is.

Q148 Read a number of commonly used packed animals on the online SRd to try and figure out carrying capacity rules for large, 4-legged animals. Alas, they don't seem to be consistent at all. Anyone know how to calculate this? I have a Warbeast Razor Boar with 30 STR.

http://www.d20srd.org/srd/carryingCapacity.htm Assuming that's large, Light load: 1596lb, Medium load: 3192, Heavy load: 4788.

Q 149
Does any book out there, at all, develop or explore hobgoblins beyond "mean hairy militant humanoids", possibly even with height/weight/age tables? Some Eberron splat, maybe?

ummm, Kingdom's Of Kalamar has a ton about them. Never heard of that sourcebook, incidentally. Is it official? Dragonlance, maybe? I don't have many of those. Q 150 Aside from Xan Yae, are there any other deities that grant the War domain and have falchion as their favored weapon?

There was a Slayer's Guide to Hobgoblins produced by a third party company. The adventure "The Red Hand of Doom" dealt with a large goblinoid army; you might be able to glean some info from that.

Players Guide too Kingdom's of Kalamar is the specific book that has a TON about them. Literally a couple chapters.

Q151: Is there a list anywhere of good spells to choose for the spell mantle ability of the Dweomerkeeper? Or, if not, what do you guys suggest I choose? So many options, so few slots...

I always am partial to guidance of the avatar. Seconded. Dimension Door can be nice too. What you want is spells that are extremely useful when you do have them, but a bit too situational to prepare all the time. Don't pick spells you're going to use all the time, you can just prepare those.

A151 there was a short thread started by me once with a handful of suggestions back on the wizards board. Generally, Dispel Magic, Alter Fortune, and Assay Spell resistance were popular as I recall.

Q 152: As un-optimized as it may be compared to straight Druid, are there any decent PrC's to make a Barbarian/Druid decently viable? Nature's Warrior is the best I can find other than Bear Warrior, and I'm specifically wanting the Druid casting and wildshape.

Warshaper might work. Not really what I was looking for, but a possibility.

A152: The druid variant Druidic Avenger might be a decent starting point.
