Q184 Is there any way to get the Dragon type, except from the half-dragon template and the dragonwrought cobold?
There's also a Sor/Wiz 2 spell in Dragon Magic or Races of the Dragon that gives you the type for a while.

Play a dragon, Polymorph into a dragon... That's about it. If you have the dragonblood subtype, you basicly have the dragon type. Other way round, actually. And in any case, CantripN pointed out Essence of the Dragon (Sorcerer only, Races of the Dragon).

That's not true. You automatically qualify for anything having the Dragonblood subtype if you have the Dragon type.

Q185: This has bothered me for awhile. What AC does a potion throwing sneak attacking Rogue have to beat? Let's assume that he sneaks up on an orc fighter in full plate with 12 dex (19 AC, 18 Flat Footed, 11 Touch) and throws a potion. My first thought says 10 because throwing a potion is a touch attack, but since he's flat footed he doesn't get his dex to AC.

Q 186: Is there a list of metamagic feats by the level it raises the spell? (specifically, I'm looking for ones that don't change the level, but I would love a list of them by the amount they are raised)

A185: Sounds about right; throwing an object at someone merely to hit them is a touch attack, and sneaking denies the orc's Dexterity bonus to AC. Keep in mind, however, that the orc is not necessarily flat-footed unless combat has just started - being flat-footed is a trickier status to pull off than being denied one's Dexterity bonus to AC.

A 186(187)As far as I know, the only +0 metamagic (without cost reducers) is Invisible Spell from Cityscape.

His flat-footed touch AC, which is 10 evidently.

Google search for Crystal Keep. Then download the feats PDF. That includes a list of metamagics, and yes, they're in order by level adjustment (there's a bunch of 0s in there). JaronK

A potion thrower targets Touch AC. If his target is also flat footed, then it's touch AC with dex denied as well (usually 10 + size modifiers + deflection AC). JaronK

Q 188- Haures's Major Image does NOT require concentration to maintain: the effect is as the spell, but it automatically lasts Binder level rounds. What's the reasoning behind this? Looking at Haures's Major Image, I don't see any clause that would override MI's duration. I asked this in the Consolidated Binder Handbook, but I figure here would be faster.

That's not true. You automatically qualify for anything having the Dragonblood subtype if you have the Dragon type.
Dragonblood subtype means that spells, effects, powers, and abilities that affect or target dragons also affect it. The subtype qualifies a creature to use magic items normally only usable by dragons, and qualifies the creature to take feats that have the subtype as a prerequisite. The dragonblood subtype also makes creatures subject to harmful effects that affect dragons.

Dragons are affected by everything that Dragonblooded are. Dragon type has many abilities/immunities/HD/'true dragon'/age categories which set it distinctly apart from the Dragonblooded type.

A189: Ao not only has no listed stats, but also likely is written as being incapable of having them. Mystra's good enough for most things, however.

In other news, there was already a Q185. Q185 What book do platinum weapons come from? Heavy gold and platinum weapons are from Magic of Faerun. They are in a sidebar near the back.
