Q67 : How does Sculpt Spell affect a spell that has multiple AoE's? Is each one treated individually, such as turning each 5' burst in a Firebrand into 4 10' cubes or a 20' radius? Or is it the entire AoE converted (in this case massively reduced) to just the options of the feat? I could see a case for either, as each AoE of Firebrand for example has it's own discreet effects, that don't stack when they overlap.

A67: It simply changes the spell's whole area. "You can modify an area spell by changing the area’s shape to either [of various choices]."

What (in the rules) prevents an ogre from riding a riding dog? Can a human fight from the back of a riding dog? Can a halfling fight from the back of a heavy war horse? If so can he even reach the people he is fighting? I can't find anywhere in the rules that say that any of this cannot happen. I just think the idea of a hill giant fighting from the back of a riding dog sounds ridiculous.

An animal or magical beast must be atleast one size catagories larger than the rider... that's in the PH somewhere.

Q 68: Why hasn't anyone made a build focused entirely around the "Blessed By Tem-Et-Nu" feat and magebred dire hippos?
Q 69: Is there a god you can choose to get WF:katana from war domain?

Whether he's an actual god in the campaign or not, few DM's would dispute an oriental warrior worshiping an ancestor...like say, Miyamoto Musashi Also, don't forget that DnD thinks of katana as Bastard Swords, even if they are closer to the western arming swords in length.

Retrying x2 x3 Q285 58 70: Does anyone anywhere have a complete or near complete index of the exclusive Dungeon magazine non-adventure module 3.5 information? Its got a lot of new creatures and some items but God Himself needs to help me to find what I want. (I got one for dragon magazines but not my dungeon ones) + Q58A. [easy stuff]
Q58B: [easy stuff]
Q58C: [easy stuff] = numbering fail Q71: Are there any non-custom legendary weapons in print for any of the UA scion classes besides the 1 example weapon per PrC? (I didn't see guidlines for making custom ones like Weapons of Legacy) Q72: I seem to remember a cool race that had 1 nasty restriction of not being able to cast spells. Does it ring a bell for anyone?

A 72Karsite from ToM? buomman? Buommans can, technically, still cast spells if they use Silent Spell or take the racial feat that allows them to hum verbal components.

By itself? I don't think so. SpA are only arcane, IIRC.

Q73: Does Aasimar ability to cast daylight allow me to grab Alternative Source Spell? A73:So far as I can tell Complete Arcane should have mentioned something on this, but didn't. It does allow SLAs to fulfill caster level requirements and specific spell requirements. It also disallows SLAs to fulfill spell level requirements. And it says absolutely nothing on just being able to cast spells. I'd say that because using an SLA is not actually casting (despite it being arcane/divine and having a caster level), it would not qualify. @ bearsarebrown: The idea was likely to use it to fulfill one casting requirement, then to get the other in the normal fashion.

Wrong @ But I have a feeling that SpA are only ever arcane spells, and for that reason, the divine must be met with the first level. What does ASS require? Arcane and Divine CL? Then it should work.

Damn... I really would like to avoid the Cleric 1 dip, so that would lead then to...
Q74:How would one gain "the ability to cast divine spells" without loosing CL?

SLAs can be divine, depending on who can cast it. The Rules Compendium specifies the order of priority if no casting type is given: - Sorcerer/Wizard
- Cleric
- Druid
- Bard
- Paladin
- Ranger

If you're willing to spend two feats, Magical Training (FRCS) gives you actual spellcasting of a couple cantrips. Combine with some sort of arcane->divine conversion.
I believe SLAs are neither arcane nor divine.

Quite true; I've seen some builds that make use of this. I believe SLAs are neither arcane nor divine. Recall the original version of Magebane, back from Complete Arcane? One of the things it worked on was "creatures with the ability to use arcane spell-like abilities".

Q75: If one had the minor artifact "Windsong Towerkin Ring" from the Anauroch: Empire of Shadow adventure would it eliminate the range restriction on the Dimensional Jaunt reserve feat?
The effect of the ring is as follows: This ring negates the range limit (if any) of spells, spelllikeabilities, or supernatural abilities from the subschool of teleportation.
