Hmmm. Good thing the Lochnar prevents time paradoxes.
What gave you that idea? I believe you mentioned as much so you'd avoid the headache of dealing with them.

I said that it is hard to know just what exactly the Lochnar has affected throughout history, because all pretty much everyone remembers is whatever the latest version is. How would you know that there had been a previous history if it were rewritten, along with all memories of it?

A couple of water benders, a dike, a flaming arrow, and a few barrels of blasting jelly?
Sounds like the makings of a gay porn film.
...thanks

No, I don't think Marlowe's quite forgiven Sammael for the Flesh to Stone thing yet. So I guess we're healing and taking off?

Ok, so our plan is to have Raoul as bait distracting CoD in awesome disguise while our sneaky dudes steal the package off his pants.
Any last-second objections?

And what is Cade doing during this? He does have fiendish blood, and being a True Fiend has essentially claimed everything from his Demonic heritage besides immunity to poison and electricity. And energy resistance. And teleportation at-will. But at least he's really friggin' old! There's.... there's that... >_> <_<

Well, we could have some people on call just in case things get hairy. We'll want to have that happen anyway, because things will go wrong. Also, this is the point where I wish I had put points into Sleight of Hand, but eh. Maybe someday a situation where I can use Forgery will come up. ...maybe I should create a forged document for Raoul to use.

Hey, as long as we're going in for FUBAR.
It'd be an excuse to use the damned skill, anyway.

I think its a crazy plan that in the normal course of events could never work. But its more fun, for more people, to actually go in, than to attempt to negotiate via Sending. So I haven't said anything.

There's still time to change the plan, if we can come up with something that will work better. I just figured that it was better to attempt a long-shot plan than to keep debating endlessly until the game ground to a halt.

Boz has a point. Worst case scenario we'll be forced to flee without the package.

Well, maybe more like "we have to wait several days to get the dead party members back via Wishes and then find a way around the heightened security," but yeah. So should Marlowe take the time to forge a document in Infernal to help out with the distraction, or do you guys want to go ahead without wasting any more time?

Forgery is opposed by Forgery, so either the general inspects it himself, in which case it probably works unless the general is a lot more of a literary man than we thought, or he hands it off to a lower-level lackey who may or may not be able to tell if it's genuine but will probably have a bonus closer to mine than the general's skill bonuses would be.
It eats up time inspecting the document either way, so that's always useful. I just don't want to delay us much longer.
