Anyone remember where I posted the changes to how we're going to use Wish in the past? I think I said you guys could get unlimited items of 15k and below with no delay, since he can just go back to Hell and fetch them for you. But if you want him to use his actual Wish SLA, it will be limited to 1x Day. Does that sound reasonable?

Yep. And Lesser Restoration, or whatever. And you guys can keep the wands, of course.

I just want to avoid the giant laundry-list of level inappropriate buff spells you guys had earlier... That shit is too hard to deal with as a DM, even when you can use Tome material to spice up your NPCs... Sorry about that. The ruleset we're using is still basically an experiment/learning experience.

I like the way you think, and might want to use what you suggest in the future... but you don't detect any fishy intentions behind the key.

Well, we only need it for Myth drannor, so we can always stash it in some lonely place (like right here) whenever we don't need it, and teleport back to it if we do as a stop before going to Drannor.

Yes, again, I am aware that it is each wand individually being under 15k, thus my statement on the spell level cost. Anyway, I'm sure we can figure out what wands they are really. This is really not much of a point right now, since we all need to work out what we're doing next.

Yeah, basically I don't really care what you say the wands are, as long as they fall below the "Wish economy" limit. If they didn't happen to be what you actually wanted the first time, you could just send him back for different ones, anyway. So we'll just say that whatever you wanted, you have, so we don't have to RP out you guys sending him back and forth several times.

As a plus, killing the Balor doesn't actually net us anything if he doesn't have the relic with him.

Yeah, fighting a Balor isn't really on Cade's wishlist right now anyway. We only need to get the artifact; there's nothing saying we need to get it through violence, per se.

The Balor's the only one who knows for sure where the relic is. There are probably others who at least have an idea, and Raoul might be able to find those. Problem is that we'll be taking chances either way.

I don't really see how you're out of options... You guys just don't seem willing to try the ones you have.

Well, either we talk to the general or we fix the party up and head back in, trying to find what we need with Raoul guiding us from the pit. Those aren't mutually exclusive, but doing either one will make the other significantly harder.

You guys also have nearly unlimited resources... So you could try using spells and/or magic items to get answers, also. Of course, there are inherent risks in using divinations about items and individuals as powerful as the ones you're interested in.
