A couple of water benders, a dike, a flaming arrow, and a few barrels of blasting jelly?
Sounds like the makings of a gay porn film.
...thanks

Silence would also help, though I made sure to try and boost hide and move silently (though there's only so much I can do on my own) to whatever end I could.
Sure, lets throw it on an object and keep it in a side passage of the pit (a side passage made with an additional pit ), otherwise it would really mess with Raoul. On second consideration ...

Superior Invisibility also conceals sound, but doesn't actually stop it, so people can't hear you but you can cast spells just fine.

OK, the ball's in your (or Xuuvosic's) court. Are the rest of you getting out of the pit here now, or what?

Well, unless the portal mangles extra dimensional spaces that go through it, I see no reason to leave. Unless you guys want to go extra sure on stealth and let RJ do the sneaking around.

I think the original version of the Wolfpack Tactics homebrew feat is a bit over powered (which you guys experienced via the goblin fighters with the barghest... or at least Xuuvosic's weretiger did... ), and also I think the ranged flanking part really has nothing to do with the rest of it. So I'm thinking of changing it to the one below. The only one I think this would impact is the barghest, which would lose the free AoO on a damaged enemy once per round (at least until he has 11 hit dice again). The new feature (which replaces ranged flanking) is italicized. I think it fits the theme of the feat a lot more, and also should be quite useful in some situations. Wolfpack Tactics [Combat] (New version)Benefits: This combat feat scales with your base attack bonus. - BAB+0: If an ally is flanking an opponent you are in melee with, you are considered to be flanking that opponent also, and get all the normal benefits of flanking.
- BAB+1: You may change positions with an adjacent, willing ally once per round as a free action. This movement does not provoke attacks of opportunity, as it counts as a five foot step for both participants.
- BAB +6: You may change your initiative order to act on the same initiative count as one of your allies. This free action must be taken after initiative checks are rolled, but before regular rounds begin. It lasts for the entire combat (or until you ready or delay your action, or change your initiative in some other way), just as if you had initially rolled this initiative roll.
- BAB+11: Once per round you make make an Attack of Opportunity on an opponent damaged by one of your allies (not including you).
- BAB +16: You may step in front of an attack directed at one of your allies that is within your reach as an immediate action. You take the damage from the attack instead of them, or if it is a non-damaging attack you are affected instead of them. Any resistances or immunities you have against the attack apply normally. This can work against rays, but not against area attacks.

I think what he's saying is he's staying in the pit until we're sure his other self isn't in the vicinity once going through the portal.
I think I'll probably get out. Not sure what disguise to take, though.

Demon or elf? Yeah, I'm not sure what the dominant forces are gonna be when we go through. Even assuming the elves are still holding strong at the point we enter, who knows what sort of tumult Phaedrus could have planned for that area once we go through. I'll have to pick something, though.

We've all got a Superior Invisibility going, so you'll have until it runs out to pick anyway.

Do we already have a buff that makes us immune to crits? If not, the Heart of [element] line just came to mind as another good series of buffs. Aforementioned immunity plus other okay stuff, most importantly THP from Heart of Earth.
EDIT: Come to think of it, they might be Personal. In that case, probably not.

Yep, they're personal. Using those on some of my characters in other games.

Amongst the buffs, everyone has Find the Path. I propose that Marlowe's be set for the portal. RJ's, as well as a few others, should be set to Chokes-on-Jello's quarters in the demon encampment. Ideas for other locations? Possibly the elven encampment?

Is it possible to set FtP to "a safe escape route" just in case things go south? Then again, we have X.
