So... how crazy do you guys think Chaining Shield Other onto the entire party, so Thogg takes half their damage, would be?  It should mostly be subdual, which he'll heal at 10 per round (9 regen +1 fast healing). Or should I save my other use of Vestige Metamagic for a Chained Greater Dispel on the enemies, as discussed? |

I say go with the latter. If it turns out we get beatsticks as enemies without any nasty buffs, you can always use the Shield Other combo. For now I'd stick with Dispel though just to be on the safe side  |

A creature with regeneration treats all damage as nonlethal, except for specific types of damage, given in the creature’s description, that affect it normally (such as a troll’s vulnerability to acid and fire). A creature with regeneration can remove 1 nonlethal hit per round per 5 points of regeneration (minimum 1 hit). Just sayin'... |

I thought the number given was how much they heal every round... Regeneration
Creatures with this extraordinary ability recover from wounds quickly and can even regrow or reattach severed body parts. Damage dealt to the creature is treated as nonlethal damage, and the creature automatically cures itself of nonlethal damage at a fixed rate per round, as given in the creature’s entry. That's under Regeneration in Special Abilities. Something else I was wondering about, but forgot to ask: How do Temporary hit points interact with regeneration? If he gets hit with non-acid damage, does it take off from his temporary hit points? Do they regenerate? Also, I added a bit to my in-game post. |

Nonlethal damage is never subtracted from your actual hit point total. It's just a value tracked separately from hit points you compare to your current hit points(including temporary) to see if you're unconscious or staggered. It would take lethal damage to remove temporary hit points. |
