Unlike Danish. Anyone can speak Danish by just tossing two hot potatoes up his mouth.
I understand written Norwegian pretty well, but spoken word can get over my head at times. Same goes for some Swedish accents too, like Malmö. That is not Swedish for christ's sake.

I decided to drop IF down to 1 rank since I won't need it to much while I am throwing, and buffed up some Knowledges and Spellcraft...
I am also thinking of removing the Belt of many pouches from the Belt of Battle, since that will give me 7500gp more... what do you think?

I've been looking at binders, and was thinking of changing my build around. It would function pretty much the same ultimately (self-buffing beatstick Ur-Priest who possesses people), but would get there alot differently, and the flavor of combining Binder and Ur-Priest is awesome. I'm thinking something like this: Human Sorc 1/Binder1/Anima Mage 3/Ur-Priest 1/AM+4/Cont1/SwBE1Feats: Spell Focus: Evil (human), PrecocApp(flaw1)(retrained to Silent Spell at ECL 5), Still Spell (flaw2), Toughness (1)(retrained to Improved Binding at ECL2), Extend Spell (3), Mother Cyst (6), Practiced SC: UrP (9), Persistent Spell (12), Iron Will (Otyugh Hole) EBL 10 (5th level vestiges), UrP 7, Sorc4 I could drop the Divine Metamagic stuff entirely (or pick it up later), but still get free metamagic twice per day with Anima Mage, and I'd have 5th level vestiges, which would add a ton of versatility, but nothing too powerful. I'd also have 2nd level sorcerer spells, and I think the character would actually be more playable from 1st level (not a concern for this game, but cool for the build). I'd have to cheese the entry with Precocious Apprentice + Improved Binding. I'd also need to use the adaptation for Anima Mage (using it to advance divine spells), and change which class I'm advancing with it (going from sorcerer to Ur-Priest). I'd lose Cha to saves and Mettle, but I can bind a vestige which gives me a reroll every 5 rounds, which is probably better, and his saves should still be very high with active buffs anyway. Any problems with this, Tshern? Link to the modified character. |

Awesome. Welcome back. I updated my character in the character's thread. One of the benefits of adding the Binder stuff is being able to craft just about anything by binding Astaroth... especially if you use Dark Craft and souls to provide the XP costs. So Gabriel crafted most of his equipment. That might put him a bit ahead of the WBL table, so I'll just say he "wasted" 10,000 gp setting up illegal business operations and spying networks on the prime. I also spent over 7000 gp just setting up his hidden "lair", which basically is just there to protect his clone and (hopefully) will never have any impact on the game. But if we ever get time, and anyone wants some items crafted... he's your man. |

I don't want to totally wreck things (because I don't want every enemy running around using a staff of the magi and sphere of annihilation against us. ). I can't quite get Craft Contingent Spell yet, as my effective binder/caster level is only 10 for crafting. I'm a bit wary of abusing that, also... Also, no more Persistent Mass Lesser Vigor. I had to give up a couple of persistent spells with this build (for the moment...), and that one got the axe. I can still do out of combat healing by binding Buer, or maybe you could make a Mass Lesser Vigor persistent via Metamagic Effect or Cooperative Metamagic on me or AC... |
