I've found a limited dial-up internet connection. My character's background is almost over. It's nice to have something to think about at the beach (although there are quite a few distractions ).

P.S. Tshern i added your msn account to mine.

I am the most hardcore fan(atic) of that nutcase we know as the Joker and even the fact that he was wearing MAKEUP instead of just being white didn't bother me much. Heath Ledger pulled it off...

I'm with Bowen. I haven't been able to see it, but I really want to... Although one person I know is now arguing it is the greatest movie ever (better than Godfather and Shawshank Redemption)... I worry he is over hyping it.

It isn't better than the Godfather or Shawshank Redemption, that's for sure. Yes, it is good. No, it is not that good.

Ah, good to know. I figured he was a little over-excited. That sounds more like a really good movie, and less like an over-hyped one now. Big Grin

A lot of the hype is coming from the fact that Heath Ledger died not long before it was released, which often makes people wary of criticising what is rapidly becoming 'his' movie, as they fear being labelled 'disrespectful of the dead', which is a nasty, sticky label.

I won't deny that Ledger's Joker is awesome - that is a fact. However, I can tell you that, overall, the movie was good, but not to the levels of truly spectacular movies out there. It had good parts, bad parts and awesome parts, in roughly equal measure.

lol@Maggie Gyllenhaal then. She said she won't vote for Heath (she is in the Oscar commitee) since he doesn't need the prize now when he is dead.

Do you know any of these individuals?
