I'll probably get a eternal wand of Nerveskitter, but what should I do with my ring, to have a few options in it? A cool and useful 1st level spell...

I added a Circlet of Persuasion to Gabriel, if that's ok, Tshern. It's just too valuable not to have, considering it also would add to his binding checks. I made it a pair of glasses instead of a circlet, and also added +1 boosts to Charisma and Int to it, to make those even. I added his Periapt of Wisdom to his helmet, and made it a MW Listen tool and his glasses also a MW Spot tool. Yeah, I'm pretty much officially raping the WBL via crafting now...  |

Heh, same here. I've been working on a Wizard for my Eberron game for when my friend takes over DM-ing duties for a while, level 9-ish as well, and for his gear I was able to completely rape WBL  |

Gabriel has about 114,000 gp of wealth in total if you bought it all at the listed costs, but 7,000 of that was spent on permanent effects in his "secret lair", which will probably never matter in the game, and 12,000 is spent on stuff purely for the party. Another 16,000 was for his Legendary Item, which is basically only there for the Cunning ability, and 15,000 is tied up in a Vestige Phylactery, which lets him swap a bound vestige out once per day, which is actually overpriced I think, since it only reproduces the feat Expel Vestige. So I don't think he's too far over what he should be, taking that stuff into consideration.
If someone really has a problem with it, I can get rid of some things. We can hopefully craft more stuff for other people once the game gets going also, assuming we get some money.

Its from the Weapons of Legacy book. It is similiar to the minotaur ability. It makes it so you can act while flat-footed (or are never flat-footed, I forget, but it amounts to the same thing). |

Wasn't there something quasi-official stating that the only "pocket dimension" type of items that cause problems when combined are Bags of Holding and Portable Holes, because they're specifically stated to? I think this might have been in a FAQ or something. I'm just wondering if it is safe to put my Enveloping Pit inside my Handy Haversack. Or if I'm going to blow a hole in the Iron Tower if I do that (might make a strategy for the Iron Siege thread ). |

Not at all, I just didnt think about really using the rules in the MiC like you guys have. Say, can you make the 10 minute version of the Collar of Umbral Metamorphosis into the all-day version? Provided the money and XP, and time(for the homunoculus)? |

Yeah, I am 15... Also, my birthday was two days ago, but thanks anyways... Noone else on the boards remembered it (I think)... I did. See the birthday thread. And... I just realized that Gabriel doesn't quite qualify for the Stranger with the Burning Eyes PrC. It requires you to be able to spontaneously cast Magic Jar... I originally had Domain Spontaneity in the build, and now I remember why. So I will drop Extend and Persist and let Bowen take care of those, if he doesn't mind, and will instead pick up Domain Spontaneity and Chain Spell. Then I can hit everyone's weapon with a Greater Magic Weapon at the beginning of the day, and toss out a Chained Greater Dispel Magic occasionally (or something else). I'll have to always keep Tenebrous bound for rebuke undead so I can use Domain Spontaneity to qualify for the PrC until I take the 2nd level of Ur-Priest. In total, that will be like 8 total uses of your Incantatrix abilities per day (2 cooperative, 2 MM effect, 4 either)... is that ok? |
