K guys, this is the place where Out of Character, game-related conversation happens.

That's not to say that OOC info can't be hidden with spoiler tags, but this is for general, non-in-the-moment OOC chatter Big Grin

OOC - That's what SHE said!  But, otherwise, that works for me, if you guys are willing.

Here is some OOC stuff. I still haven't gotten an idea about clvl. If you read my char background you know Im not  to worried about wealth. But I do want to carry daggers, I wont use them but for the sake of what my official military arms are I carry them even if I dont use them. I assume that wont bother or affect my monk status.

Seeeeaaaan give me some details. I am thinking about the prestige class Kensai (CW pg 50) But if I am not high enough level to start with levels in it I wont bother because the idea would be that my oath would be sworn to my lord in Arcadia. It seems kind of silly to swear an oath after we start because I already have a history with him. See what I'm saying? Also I was wondering if you think the Goliath trait Powerful Build (RoS pg 56) encompasses monk dmg or not, does he use the monk dmg for large or medium creatures? I don't really care what you decide I have two builds I wanna try and what you choose will determine which I use.

Hey guys. I know you're itchin to get started. Sorry I've been so behind. My days start early here and end late. And then I'm fucking EXHAUSTED when I get back to the hotel. I'll get up to speed on everything you guys have posted so far and then give my guidance. :-) Thanks for being patient/understanding.

Just doing my thing cruising through my pdfs I ran across something that made me shit my pants and want to change my character. I wont of course I just wanted to point this out to you guys. In the Monster Manual IV there is a template on pg 93 called Lolth-touched, it can be applied to almost anything. You are forced to change your alignment to CE (duh) the benefits are such: +6 Str +6 Con; +4 to Hide +4 to Move Silently; and the special quality Fearless: Immunity to all fear effects. Level Adjustment ..... +1. WTF??!!

I can't wait to play a CE Lolth-touched Goliath Barbarian and pop off a rage then smash into something with a large sized great sword for 3d6+16 dmg at ECL 3.
