The Mediterranean Sea was as black as coal and the night matched it well. The was death to be dealt and it was a good evening for it.

Cross was in the water just off of a luxury yacht...

Moving slowly so as not to disturb the water, Cross rises to the surface to get a look at who was on the deck.  Unfortunately his night-vision goggles didn't fit under the breathmask of his dry suit.  He'd have to rely on boat lights, cigarettes, and what little ambient light there was to get a good view of the battlefield.

(IC is down, so I'll take 20 for a total of 20)

A cigarette smoking man could be seen moving about near the jacuzzi. It was hard to tell in the dark, but it was reasonable that he'd be armed.

Just one in view.  There would be more for sure, but there was a chance that they felt safe here.  Continuing his agonizingly slow approach to the ship, Cross keeps an eye on the smoking sentry on the deck above.  Hopefully he wouldn't have to deal with too many of these guys.

Finally, after what felt like hours, Cross reached the edge of the Stern Deck.  Now to pull himself up onto the ship without drawing attention to himself...

Climb (take 10) = 20
Move Silently (take 10) = 18

Cross's arms burned as he slowly moved his way up onto the deck, hoping the guard was bored enough that he wouldn't hear the dripping water and come investigate.  That would make for a shitty start to this mission.  At least there hadn't been any sharks.

Cross peeled the drysuit off as quickly as he could without making noise revealing his black BDUs underneath.  Once the suit was off, he lowered it into the black water behind the ship before checking that his gear was ready.  His Heckler & Koch USP Tactical was held snugly against his right thigh, a hole cut into the bottom of the holster allowed the suppressor to slide through.  He wouldn't win any quickdraw contests with that setup, but it served his needs.  In his pocket, a length of piano wire with a pair of rings on the end lay waiting to become someone's final necktie.  As usual, Cross went in with as few pieces of equipment as he could reasonably manage.

Drawing his pistol, Cross prepares to move up the stairs towards the smoking guard.  Pausing in a low crouch at the foot of the stairs, he listens for any signs of danger.

The guard can be heard from the direction of the jacuzzi. He's speaking Greek to someone. You don't hear the other side of the conversation for some reason.

Cross crept up the starboard stairway, using one hand to stabilize himself while keeping as low a profile as he could.  Hopefully I'll be able to bypass the guard without alerting him to my presence.

Peering over the Jet Ski, Cross takes a look at both the guard's location, and his potential sight lines.

A man wearing a tight business suit that seems strained by his build is leaning up against the edge of the jacuzzi. He's got a phone to his ear and he continues to speak to someone in Greek. He has an HK hanging from his shoulder byu a strap. He's smoking a cigarette. He is currently only able to watch the right side of the boat, at least while he's facing that way.

Noting the sentry, Cross curses under his breath at his positioning.  The way the guard sat completely prevented Cross from taking his planned route.  He'd have to find an alternate route, and quick!

Quietly moving in a crouch behind the jetskis, Cross made his way towards the port side of the ship.  He looked over the edge to gauge the distance and difficulty of making the climb.

Cross checks to make sure the sentry is still distracted with his phone call and prepares to move forward along the port side of the ship.  He'd be without cover for approximately 13 feet until he reached the next table, but once he got there, he'd have a wall between himself and the sentry.

Continuing his silent movement along the port rail, Cross ducks under the two windows he passes, then stops at the Pilot House door to listen.  He hoped he'd be lucky and find an empty room, but experience told him his chances were slim to none.
