Work on your character, ask questions for me or Strato, and talk about character backgrounds here.

To start out, you will all know each other somehow. It is your job to figure that out. Discuss, create.

Go!  Wink

Yup! Looks good after a skim, I'll read it more carefully later. I did notice a light load of 12 lbs. That sounds fun

Ritualist can never be the main fighter: poor BAB, no Armor Proficiencies... A dagger is all I need to make a sacrifice

I'll be putting a ritual warrior together, provided we get the historians playing who said they would.

worst case you create a ritual warrior for someone else to play, so there is no downside to creating it Wink

Working on my Historian presently. How would you reflavour Dragonborn, or is there a Bahamut in this world?

SixthDeclention/Stratovarius, how do you want to define an 'ancient weapon' for the purposes of Ancient Practicality/Master of Ancient Weaponry?

Quote from: Strato, in PPF thread
As for ancient weapons: I haven't compiled a full list. Most things that are old sounding or more exotic will fall in that category.

I guess that makes it a case-by-case thing. Although "things sounding more exotic" gives you quite a bit of leeway.

I haven't fully defined it. But, if you want an idea, look at the weapons in frostburn or sandstorm, those are certainly on the list. Think of things weird and wonderful that are not considered optimal. Until I get a list down, its just on a case by case basis.

Strato, how do you feel about Craft(weaponsmithing) as a class skill for Historian, provided I only use it to craft ancient weapons. Especially some of the ones from Frostburn, Tigerskull Club, I'm lookin' at you.

Go right ahead, I've got no complaints about that.

Make sure to pay attention to the PPF thread, by the way, I've been updating the feat list there fairly extensively, and am in the middle of posting another ten.

It's open in one of my other three tabs... Big Grin
And I found a typo in A Traveler Abroad, the second and third applications use the same names as the previous seed, The Mind Afire.
Also, is the Sword from the Sky Creator power permanent, and could it create non-magical weapons for less than four spell points?

Quote
  • The Traveller Abroad: A single step takes you a far distance away. The magic of the traveller comes easily and naturally to you, shifting between here and there.
    • Seed Type: Wizardry.
    • A Single Step: This seed allows you to instantly step to somewhere you can see, up to a maximum of 20' per spell point.
    • Master of Puppets: This seed allows to shift yourself in any direction, up to a maximum of 100' per spell point. You may bring one ally per two spell points. This seed has a minimum cost of 6 spell points.
    • Altered Mind: This seed allows to shift yourself in any direction, up to a maximum of 100 miles per spell point. You may bring one ally per two spell points. This seed has a minimum cost of 8 spell points. Whether you arrive properly functions as per Teleport
^^ That one has three different names...

And currently, it can't create non-magical weapons. I could add it, if desired.

For those playing historians, I just redid this post. That should make it more obvious as to the basic bits of the spells.
