Where do you guys think I should go? With Wizard's site being horrible and abandoned, this one not quite up to par and uncouth, where have all the regulars gone?

I find myself lost without the old guides, archives and lost lore. I find myself rediscovering the wheel time and again, and I find this a waste of time, of which I don't have a limitless amount.

.... this one not quite up to par and uncouth, ....
Seriously, dude?  Are you trying to cause problems for yourself?
If things are so sub-par for you, I have just one question: what have you done to improve it?  If that answer is "nothing", then it's just as much your fault as anyone else.
Basically, I see it this way: you can either do your part to make things better (at which point you will have established a right to bitch); or you can continue to leech (at which point you have forfeited your right to say squat).

Sorry if that came across a little rude, but I thought a little candor was in order.

I think in this case the grammar is less important than whether the Str and Dex bonus provided to your created undead scales.

There's always www.giantitp.com. If you're not familiar with Order of the Stick, read it. NOW. ^_^

I dare anyone to find a hole in that logic.

Well, what was it you were looking for? This place seems loads better than the old wizards site (which was loads better than the remade wizards/gleemax site).

After reading the WoTC user policy again I've personally decided not to register there anymore. So yeah, come here. This place is fine.

Both here and Giant in the Playground are good.

EDIT: At GitP, be careful what you say -- the mods are very strict.

I wouldn't go so far as to say that they suck.  I'd say they just want to encourage a very specific sort of community to develop, and have no problem using harsh punishment to try and achieve it.

I'd probably say LN.

Well I've always found your advice and insights to be fortuitous and worthwhile... so I'd say post here.

And frankly, I've never found going over old material to be a waste of time, so long as people remain civil.

You'd be surprised what you missed on the second, third, or fifty-seventh read through, even if it's something you came up with years ago.

Well, I'm here, so if that helps.. Smile

My posting here is a lil sporadic, due to my responsibilities involving the Test of Spite arena on GitP.

Agreed on LN to a degree that would make Mechanus proud.  I've never seen them be vindictive or biased... but they will also come down upon you with the Fist of Cuthbert if you so much as snark slightly.  I've been on the losing end of a couple "infractions" myself, but managed not to wind up with any actual "warnings" (or whatever they call them) to my name.  So they're very strict, and very aggressive in pursuing even small things, but they don't just ban you randomly or for minor offenses like some fora I've known.  You actually have to earn a ban there, and if you're reasonably civil you should be alright.  And the community itself is really good, I like it a lot over there.  BQ has more of the pros, but GitP has more sheer people at a whole variety of skill levels, and is pretty vibrant overall.

They are pretty darn strict though.

Lol I loved that thread. But CanTripN, you're right. GitP isn't the 3rd riech, its just here is the red-light district in Amsterdam.

My Advice? Do all: GitP, WotC, EnWorld, and here. Just let a thread drop if it gets trolled. From what I can see mythbusters is worthless aside their lovely character sheet postings
