Q14: How the fuck does this add up? The area should be the same, right? But it's not. I can see why it's bigger. But all my education says it's not possible. What. The. Fuck? It is a second-degree equation, as you solve it in the traditional way you will end up with 31,5 +/- 0,5 which means that the two possible solutions to this problem (meaning = put the figures together as a triangle) mathematically is 32 0r 31, there is a pic circulating the internet with the entire equation if you are interested, I myself have no idea how the formula went.

Sometimes I get the feeling the guys deciding how math should work have no firm grasp on simple reality. Much as 0.99999999ad nauseum = 1.0 through some simple steps. I can't remeber the process, but by applying what I've learned, I saw that there was apparently no flaw within the equation. But it makes no sense. ...bah! +++EDIT+++ Well, whatever. If they want it to work, I won't mind. I'll just be over here, nurturing my postmodernism

the most effective optimization is the one you can actually get away with. (A group of nerds are called a murder because like crows we are anti-social, like shiny things, and often squack at each other over nothing for hours) I often have to remind people not to underrate divination. The ability to effectively metagame without actually metagaming beats the ability to set things on fire more times than not.

The first thing I notice on the triangle problem is that they want you to look at the whole thing as one large triangle, so the whole seems counter intuitive. If you look closely, you'll see the dark cyan triangle has a slope of 2/5 and the red triangle has a slope of 3/8. These two it's very close and are hard to see the difference with the naked eye. The trick is making you think the top figure is a right triangle when in fact, it's a quadrilateral.

Can't do much for you when it comes to streaming, but this link should provide you to a seeded torrent. EDIT: Considering the title is a year older than I am, you'd probably fare better by using the original title, Kaze no tani no Naushika.

Ok... I need some help downloading and converting a video from a website. The site is password protected (I have a login and password, though), and after digging around in the page source, it seems that it is a flash movie that is called via a javascript. I can't figure out how to get a direct link to the video, though, or if it is even possible. I'll copy/paste the page source below, in a spoiler. If anyone has an idea of how to do this, I'd appreciate it. If I could get a direct link, I have a program that can probably capture the stream and save it. I just can't figure out how to link to it directly. I need to buy a new faucet mounted water filter as my old one broke due to me putting too much pressure on it in ways I shouldn't have. No not like that you kinky bastard. From what I've read: Pur filters might develop random leaks, Brita filters have connectors made of cheap plastic that might randomly pop off my faucet, and I've seen no helpful Dupont reviews anywhere. Anybody have any helpful advice? I don't want anything that takes up too much space, I put filtered water into a gallon jug to put in my fridge.

Possibly one of the funniest things ever is to listen to Swede's that wont realise that and try to pronounce it in a Swedish fashion. Ok, trying to pronounce anything in Finish is fairly entertaining, people of all ages laugh themselves silly when they take a random product and try to read the Finish instructions.
