AC, for your convinience, I'm looking for my old 'CREATURE of Wonder' template, which was what happened to something that ate a wand of wonder.
I remember it had a total of 1000 different wonder effects that could be triggered if you hit it, including roll twice, trice, four times, or five times and combine, and "the nearest star goes super nova"

I'll be Co-DMing since I know way too much about the idea to play. Just don't expect them to have "Toughness" as half their feats after the first one.

I think if I play I want something optimized, but something challenging to optimize, and not something overly silly, especially not something overly specialized. I'm considering either an optimized Duskblade (probably with Wyrm Wizard levels, and maybe Arcane Disciple thrown in), or (much more difficult) a Stalwart Battle Sorcerer. I like the Duskblade option for the versatility it can have, but I like the Stalwart option for how difficult it could be to build.

Any ideas as to character creation rules?
And how many groups/ people in a group do you want?

Any ideas as to character creation rules? I'm waiting for these too (patiently)! @Vinom: Do you mean for yourself personally, or are you implying that any such Duskblade or Stalwart Battle Sorcerer builds would end up like that?

Well, AC, you have your interest. Get on AIM when you can and let's hash out the rules.
Edit: Oh, yeah, you people. To keep things slightly challenging I'll say right off that there should be some kinds of restrictions on cheese level. I love the Shadowcraft Mage, but I'm not really a fan of Shadow Miracles from 1st level spell slots. That sort of thing. I'll let AC draw the exact line.
Also, if there are enough for two groups, would people be interested in making this a competition?

I mean that the character I'm planning on playing is rediculous and has a rediculous build. I'm not imply your character will be anything more than a noble and well thought out smear on the bottom of a Tarrasque's foot.

Of course, I may decide to change my tune once I see the rules for this.

Also, if there are enough for two groups, would people be interested in making this a competition? What, one group is trying to protect the tarrasques? What was the starting level for this again? I doubt I'd have time, but this could be an opportunity to try out my crazy double-possession build.

My workDeviantArtCurrent gamesThe tier system in a nutshell: Tier 6: A cartographer. Tier 5: An expert cartographer or a decent marksman. Tier 4: An expert marksman. Tier 3: An expert marksman, cartographer and chef who can tie strong knots and is trained in hostage negotiation or a marksman so good he can shoot down every bullet fired by a minigun while armed with a rusted single-shot pistol that veers to the left. Tier 2: Someone with teleportation, mind control, time manipulation, intangibility, the ability to turn into an exact duplicate of anything, or the ability to see into the future with perfect accuracy. Tier 1: Someone with teleportation, mind control, time manipulation, intangibility, the ability to turn into an exact duplicate of anything and the ability to see into the future with perfect accuracy.

I've always wanted to try a Shadowpouncer, and it looks like we might get to start at a level where it's viable, so I'll probably go with either that, or a gish

LOL. I go away for the weekend and this is what happens. Well I'm glad you're all interested. I'll be hashing out rules with SDK tonight (hopefully). PhaedrusXY: My initial thought was to have characters be 20th level. I want to use the normal Tarrasque (with real feats) as a test to see how a group does, and up the modified Tarrasques from there. I'm not opposed to a lower level, though. Any ideas on this? Also, SDK mentioned testing some homebrew classes for this, so I'm not throwing that out the window yet. There will be some attempt at balancing cash/XP, so I doubt we'll be using the Wish economy. Midnight_V: What is this 'black octopus"? I haven't seen it before. Vinom: No lie, a Tarrasque that acted like a RoW is hilarious. My boss just gave me a weird look for laughing in the office. Nanshork: I'm honestly leaning heavily towards 4 people per group, simply because of the action economy. Granted Big T will be tough, but 6 actions to my 1 will lean heavily in the PCs favor early on, and it is supposed to be a challenge. I'm open to counterarguments, though. If I go with 4 per group, I'd like 2 groups (minimum). If we end up with 12 players, I think SDK & I can run 3 groups. Past that, I'll talk to SDK and see how many we can handle/how many Tarrasques we can come up with. Prime32: No, it'd be like McDonalds vs BK or Ash vs Gary. You could think of it like two competing franchises trying to make it big in the multiverse. Starting level is tentatively 20 (that's my initial idea, but I have to hash out specifics) TheChrisWaits: I'll send you a PM. More help and creative ideas are always good. On Cheese level: I'm aiming for a moderate amount of cheese. Free wishes are probably out, as is daze-immunity Celerity shenanigans. For something like Shadowcraft, you'd probably actually have to be on the ground, not just have dirt in your shoes. But again. I'll get specifics down ASAP.

If at any time bigger than 4 member parties look like the only way, you could always simply grant your Terrasques additional actions via some form of Action Points, or hell, even minion helper squads.

20th level seems nice to me, since there isn't a whole lot of times I actually get to play something at that level (never, actually), so yeah... I think I maybe will play some sort of character from MoI or ToB or ToM or something... Maybe even a Truenamer (prolly not) I am possibly thinking of a crossbow warblade or some sort of ninja-esque char, or maybe a swiftblade (I prolly won't end up as anything like Tier 1, but still fun > power...)
