I had this on the official Paizo forums, but apparently no one wants to touch it. Didn't think the class was that detestable. Ahem

I've always wanted to play a Hexblade since I saw what it was capable of for Medusas, but now that Pathfinder's out, our group's going to be switching to the new book, and I won't be able to play it. However, with the way things are, I figure it shouldn't be that hard to convert. Just be a matter of it getting accepted by the DM.

Changes:
Spells per day ala the Ranger/Paladin (4/4/3/3), and at CL-3.
I'm a little leary of doing this, but upgrade to d12 HD from d10. Everything else went up by 1 progression, so why not? Or, they could have 4+INT skills. That'd balance things out too.
At 4th level, Dark Bond (choose familiar at full sorcerer level instead of -3, or dark companion at 3/4 level instead of 1/4).
At 6th, 8th, 11th, 14th, and 18th something should be placed in there to have no empty levels. Maybe more bonus feats, or an additional curse or aura of unluck per day.
Their spells known could probably go up an increment as well.

What would you guys do to upgrade this class to the new system?

Use my fixed version. Or the ones linked in the Rebalancing threads.

My version needs to be reuploaded, but it's still really good (if you ignore the lack of Auras, but those were filler anyway).

I only know of the Rebalanced Classes in the Rebalanced Compendium. Is there another version of it? And yes, I'd love to see your rebalanced version. I liked the auras myself, but I suppose something could be taken out, or replaced to make it better.

Yeah, I had JUST found the thread with four different Hexblades, including your own, when you replied. I might very well be asking you for that pdf since that will probably be better than the jpg one.
lol I love how you gave them the Duskblade spell progression, and that you actually show armoured mage instead of having to read for it. Not too sure how I feel about the lowering of the d10 to d8, and the losing of class skills (ie Bluff & Ride). But you did add others that make sense too. Maybe not so much the Tumble skill though. Strong Fort save is nice.

What they lack in skills they make up for in spells. Tumble was because I feel every melee-oriented class needs it, due to enemies having a huge melee reach.

Here's the PDF version. I'll probably be reuploading the full version (editing fixes and all) sometime in the next week or so (depends on what happens at the shop), so I'll post a link to the errata'ed version when I do.

Cool, thanks. When you do upload the new one, you wouldn't possibly want to make that dark blue into a light grey, would you? Embarrassed

Your monitor has trouble with blues doesn't it? Or is this printer-related? I have no problem changing the colors of the text, though if it is printer-related you can just change the printer settings and it does it automatically.

It's my monitor actually. The blue and black bleed together. I really need a new one, but you know how it goes.  Sad
But if it comes out a grey where I can see the black print no problem after it comes out, then it's all good. Just so long as it doesn't print out charcoal.

If it's your monitor, the printer will be unaffected entirely. Monitors are known to be a bit faulty, but printers show the color as intended, if a bit low quality.
