.. for a low-level (ECL 6) character. I'm looking for move/swift/immediate/free action teleportation. Immediate Magic (Conjurer), Anklet of Translocation, Divine Intercession, and Shadow Jaunt/Shadow Hand maneuvers I know about. I'm wondering about ToM, Incarnum, and other source material that I don't know as well. Conversely, is there any way to make multiple melee strikes as a move action at this low of level? I'm trying to get a character ready incorporating Sun School and loads of teleportation into his build. The idea of popping out of invisibility on a BBEG, sneak attacking, then abrupt jaunting on him 5-6 times instantly (each getting SA dice) is exactly what this characters flavor is all about.

Telflammar Shadowlord?

By level 4 of the prestige class (character level 11, minimum I think), you get Shadow Pounce.  any time you use an ability with the teleport descriptor and wind up next to an enemy you can make a full attack.

It's not a move action but Steel Wind is a 1st level strike that allows two attacks, Wolf something Strike does the same but you have to be TWF or use an unarmed strike.

Speaking of Unarmed Strikes, Snap Kick comes to mind as well, you can smack your foe twice per teleport and if that's not enough later on when you can quicken the spells or use Shadow Blink Circle Kick(S&F) doubles your successful attacks provided you teleport into the center of the opposing party.

The Shadow-Walker template (+1 LA) offers two DDoors a day by the 10th level, I would think it grants one of those by the 6th level.

In Eberron, humans from the House of Orien have access to dragonmark: least mark of passage: dimension leap 1/day (ECS). Can be improved by the Blade of Orien PrC (Dragonmarked) (extra uses, as a move action, transport allies, foes, attack after leap, etc).

Srsly, I should kick my self. I even made a jpg of the spell just so I always had the rules for it on my computer for the round two of a Battle Jumping Shadow user.

Dimension Jumper (5th level wiz/sor spell, SpC) can be cast as a swift action and allows you to teleport 30 feet once per round as a move action.

Anklet of Translocation lets you teleport 10 ft. 2/day as a swift action. It costs 1,400 gp.

Dimension Hop is a 1st level power in Complete Psionic that lets you teleport 10 feet (or more, if you augment it) as a swift action. You can do this as many times as you have the power points for it. Since it only costs 1 power point, that should be quite a few for most psionic characters.

Incarnum has the Blink Shirt.
Totemsit can use this at level two to get a move action dimension door of 10'+ 10 per essentia, so around 30 or so.

Shining South: Crinti Shadow Marauder gets Shadow Pounce at ECL 11, but at ECL 6 she can dimension door on her mount up to 50ft/day (or less if divided, but you only get 2 uses/day maximum), which will work with the Sun School.

Let us know the build when it's done!  I could see a swordsage, or a monk/rogue using ascetic rogue also Smile

I have access to NPC feats, so I'm just taking Sneak Attack and skipping Rogue. Monk 1 has to be there unless there's another way to get Flurry of Blows without losing BAB. The BAB +4 requirement for Sun School makes this really hard to squeeze everything in just 6 levels. 7 would give me all the breathing room I need, but it's 6. Focused Conjurer 1 is great for Mage Armor, Grease, Fighter Feat, Orb of Kill-a-Troll, and Immediate Magic (though I'll only have a 20 INT). Ardent 2-3 is great for power points, mantle abilities, and access to Dim Hop/Inertial Armor. I keep musing about using Cloak of Deception (assuming I get a level or 2 of Swordsage) adjacent to a BBEG, then popping out for a full TWF attack with SA active then Immediate Jaunting 5 times right next to him, getting another 5 strikes with SA dice. I always make crappy melee builds so don't get excited. So far Dimensional Hop is the most beneficial to this character because it's usable so many times per day, but Abrupt Jaunt is just so nice, but has such few castings.

You need Ruby Knight Vindicator 7 if you want to take more than one immediate action.

Oh, I knew that to be true about Swift, but I didn't know Immediate was the same way. Well, cool. Kensai Fighter Variant (DR #310) gives a flurry-like thing AfterCrescent pointed out. 2 freaking levels, though..

Well... you can "borrow" one from the next round. You use your swift during your turn, and then immediately after your turn is over you use an immediate during the next guy's turn (but before he does anything). This uses up your swift for the next round.

The best you'll probably get is:

1) Get Shadow Pounce
2) Get Abrupt Jaunt for Immediate
3) Get Dimension Hop for swift
4) Get Dimesional Slide for move
5) Get Dimension Door (or the equivalent) for a standard

Shadow Pounce (technically) lets you full attack after each of those. So that's 4 full attacks basically in one round (one is techically after your round is over).

You could also play around with Link Power, Twin Power, etc, for even more.

Yeah...I've played around with a bunch of shadowlord and shadow marauder builds, and they're really a pain to work out compared to the benefit of just going straight swordsage.  Shadowlord has excellent class features, but the crummy feats required...ugh!  Shadow marauder's easier, but the skills there don't match up, so you need weird dips like ranger or wilderness rogue, which makes multi-classing harder...especially if you're trying to fit sun school in as well!

I'm currently looking at 3 levels of Ardent, 1 level of Monk, and the rest has yet to be determined. I've gotten approval on Decisive Strike still enabling me to take Sun School, so Decisive Strike + DimHop = 2 x2 damage strikes a round with the rest of the build probably just worrying about defense or ToB classes (Swordsage isn't doable at this point because Ardent and Monk both have +0 BAB).

If the variant is allowed, perhaps the sneak attack fighter from UA to rebuild your BAB?

I was trying to find a way to mix swiftblade and shadowlord earlier today, since they share the same req's - but most of swiftblade's class abilities come into play after moving a lot, which is not what multi-shadow pouncing is all about -_-
