The character background I'm writing for my Kobold Artificer, my first RL PC since quite some time, is actually coming along quite nicely Smile

EDIT: And the RL campaign I was DM-ing ended pretty good as well Smile
Don't taunt me. I haven't online or RL games since I came here.

Got my first essay back and I am laughing at the astonishing amount of patriotism the Finnish yellow press is pushing out today. Exactly 70 years ago the USSR attacked Finland, a magnificent anniversary, because I can always get my daily dose of laughing by simply visiting the websites of our most beloved garbage magazines!

Okay... I just got my body composition test done today and the results are ridiculous. Let's compare...

22 year old Male
6'2" (185cm ish)

10/30/09: 187 pounds (84.82kg)
Body Fat% - Calipers: 16%
Body Fat% - Scale: 18%
Average: 17%

12/02/09: 181 pounds (81.1 kg)
Body Fat% - Calipers: 6.1%
Body Fat% - Scale: 8.0%
Average: 7%

Comparing the two:
10/30/09
Body Fat: 31.79 pounds fat (14.41kg)
Lean Body Mass: 155.21 pounds (70.4kg)

12/02/09
Body Fat: 12.67 pounds fat (5.75kg)
Lean Body Mass: 168.33 pounds (76.35kg)

That means in the time of about 1 month:
Fat Lost: 19.12 pounds (8.67kg)
Lean Body Mass Gained: 13.12 pounds (5.95kg)

These numbers are ridiculous. Did I do something wrong in my math? Or did I seriously lose fat and enter hypertrophy at the same time?

Going to meet my friend at the bus station, getting back to my place and get dead wasted to celebrate the independence day and my birthday. True, we are a day early, but all the Finns here drink today and I am not intending to be left out!

I found a new 3.5 group in my town that plays with absolutely everything. My game-fu is greater than theirs... and they don't care.

Not to mention the fact I was treated, FREE, to delicious chocolate cake, drinks, and I made everyone laugh their asses off every 5 minutes.

It was the most fun I've had in ages, and if I could just change my first group closer to this one, I'd be in heaven.

Thanks. I just had to make this joke at the table: "I can't believe Heaven was within walking distance of my home!"

If I had to list only one good argument to move to Austria it would be the goulash, haven't had a good bowl of that in over two years...

"I can't believe Heaven was within walking distance of my home!"
Strangely enough there's a theater/arcade within walking distance from my home that my friends and I have codenamed Heaven.  Laugh

I went to Disneyworld this past weekend with my sister for her birthday. Apparently winter is the season to go to avoid the lines and psychos.

Online flight tickets After some amazingly frustrating episodes I finally got my ticket confirmations today by calling to the KLM customer service for the sixth time. The girl there says: "Sure, I have the tickets ready, would you want me to send them to your email?" But of course I don't! I merely bought them, because I don't like having too much money!

Anyway, Tshern is going home.

This morning I was suffering from a horrendous hangover and I got asked how I would express my music taste with a single verse. I listen to music from Finnish anarchistic left-wing rap all the way to semi-right-wing metal and I was wondering what should I answer, so did not reply. Now I know what I should have quoted:
"So you've been to school for a year or two
And you know you've seen it all
In daddy's car thinkin' you'll go far
Back East your type don't crawl
Play ethnicky jazz to parade your snazz
On you five grand stereo
Braggin' that you know how the niggers feel the cold
And the slum's got so much soul
It's time to taste what you most fear
Right Guard will not help you here"

And no, googling that is not hard.

AC came to visit me and brightened up my stressful weekend. We played Borderlands (Mordecai is ALMOST level 20), cuddled, and then watched Zack and Miri make a porno (funny stuff).

Also, before that I had to go on a field trip to an art museum with my class. On the bus ride back to school, I was looking through my teacher's stuff (she bought fun stuff at the gift store!) I found the card that had made me laugh (it was a statue of david with cake over his crotch and the inside says "have your cake and eat it too". I made a comment like, "oh! that's the card I wanted!" or something to that effect... and she gave it to me. I tried to not take it, but she didn't take no for an answer, so now I have this card. And it makes me happy everytime I look at it.  Big Grin
