I think Fate deserves Abjurant Jaunt refluffed to not be a teleport. She dodges some stuff she so shouldn't be able to.

Sonic Move? If you can find a way for a sorcerer to get Abrupt Jaunt without losing caster levels I'd love to hear it. I already gave her improved evasion, uncanny dodge and all those swiftblade bonuses.

You could dip a Wizard level for it but then you'd lose out on a lot without redoing the whole build. Touche. But I must ask, why Duskling? If it's for essentia, why not Azurin?

For extra speed on essentia, I assume. She is pretty much the fastest character around (although Signum could keep up with her in A's outside of Sonic Form).

Not when dodging though, Fate has the single fastest acceleration and angle change of pretty much anyone. Considering she managed to jump out of the way of Laevantein while in her civvies. And managed to jump out of a circle of point blank Bloody Daggers, grab Nanoha from a similar circle and haul them both clear of the attack in the time it took for the knives to cross 6 inches of air. Granted, Fate is I think, the only character who moves faster than her ranged attacks do.

The duskling barbarian RSLs would let her transfer points from DR/energy resistance to speed... if I could fit it in. I used the armour instead.

What Fate needs, is some immediate action moves. Unfortunately, I don't know how to get those outside Psionics or Eternal Blade's Capstone. ... Hmm. Ability duplication something something... Hmm...

Here's a thought - as I'm playing Pathfinder... The Arcane Bond item isn't _that_ impressive, for the most part, yes. Not compared to familiar. Unless you make it an INTELLIGENT ITEM, of course. This could be the way to get the lowest level to play nanoha. So... keeping in mind, we only pay half price when crafting, Intelligent + speech = 500gp, Can fly +5000gp Mage Hand at will: +500gp (required since minor creation creates unattended stuff) Minor Creation 1/day (create wooden staff-frame, clothing, plant-based dyes etc.) 5 ranks in craft(cloth) and craft(carpentry): 2500gp (can take ten to create high-quality items.) Now, I'm not that happy with it, but there's no equivalent of "arming" or some sort of "change item to different shape" thing effect in PF that I know of, yet... But, it's easy to put in-game items that create clothing and unseen servants, for transformation sequences and such.

The barrier jackets are most likely a variant of Mage Armor in a system where armor grants (universal) damage reduction and can be destroyed when overloaded, and defaults to visible. So that'd do fine.

I'd say that Barrier Jackets convert damage into non-lethal damage myself.

Didn't seem so when Fate and Signum cut each other, the nonlethalness is mainly the magic at work. Lightly, granted, but real damage. It's like Stoneskin but better.

Ah, this thread. You should also wear Icemail Armor when you get the funds (the printed one is 52k). It's a +3 breastplate, treated as light armor, max dex +5, armor check 1, but has 0% ASF (though you're a cleric so you don't care) with [Cold] spells, and adds +2 DC to [Cold] spells.

Oh yeah, Movie Nanoha had a golden breastplate under her coat and over her last layer of the barrier jacket. The golden clip thing just holds the cloth in place.
