I had a sudden urge to start this thread. Pictures from here and here.General stuffThe flavour differences between Midchildian and Belkan magic are pretty close to those between arcane and divine magic (Ancient Belka was a theocracy, and their spells focus more on melee combat and self-buffs compared to Midchildia's area effects). Likewise, a combo of Divine Metamagic and nightsticks emulates the Belkan cartridge system very well. Intelligent and Armed Devices can be represented by Item Familiars with the Improved Sapience ability, while Unison Devices are (optionally dragonborn) Jermlaine MM2 with the Otherworldly feat, the ritual of alignment (evil) from Savage Species and 6 levels of Fiend of Posession FF. The near-ubiquitous flight and telepathy can be handled by magic items if the character does not have access to the fly spell. I recommend using these adjustments to some psionic powers if you want to be able to blast all the way through a building in one shot. Hayate needs Elder Giant Magic (Secrets of Xen'drik). It allows you to increase a spell's casting time by up to 3 rounds and increase the spell's CL by 1 for each round.
Give Vita the Major Titan Bloodline instead of Monkey Grip. At lvl 12, it lets you wield a Gargantuan warhammer as per the Titan's Use Oversized Weapon ability.

Give Vita the Major Titan Bloodline instead of Monkey Grip. At lvl 12, it lets you wield a Gargantuan warhammer as per the Titan's Use Oversized Weapon ability.
 How did I forget about that? Anyway, I still need an Ubermount build for Caro. Alternatively, I could go Healer - they can cast gate but otherwise suck, right?

Well, Caro also buffs Erio sometimes, doesn't she? Perhaps a Zentharim Skymage (possibly with Champion of Legacy shenantics) to get a dragon mount. Erio would be a pretty straightforward Ubercharger (perhaps a Dragoon) build, I think. EDIT: Make Riin a Cloistered Cleric and give her another domain.  EDIT 2: Wasn't there some Halfling Ubermount build that got a Gold Dragon mount? Sounds about perfect for Caro.

Is there something about Fiend of Possession that screws you if you have lower BAB than your possession target? Nah, I just wanted accuracy to the "klutz" thing (look up a video of when she's casting Hraesvelgr). Divine Power would be overkill - as far as I know, Rein does not know kung fu.

DMM Persistent Divine Power at the start of each day ought to solve that, then (not all turn attempts need to be cartridges). Well, not that important, I suppose. Here's a Supermount build that can get a Celestial Gold Dragon if you go Strongheart Halfling and/or use flaws.

Actually, it's nearly exclusively an anime series. The mangas are mostly All There In The Manual-style supplementary material. If you start with the first season (recommended), don't lose patience if it looks like a formulaic Magical Girl series at first. It Grows the Beard somewhere around episode 4, when the villains are introduced. Yuuno is a guy. Other than that, there are very few significant males in the series. Which reminds me, we also need to stat Chrono. EDIT: Perhaps add some Initiate of the Seven Veils to Yuuno? IotSV is pretty much the epitome of Barrier Warrior in 3.5, I think.

Also, lots and lots of Super Robot Wars references, including a Zankantou and a full port of Lamia Loveless (Signum). The seasons are Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha A's Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha StrikerS Don't let the name put you off - everything before "Nanoha" becomes an Artifact Title very quickly. Isn't there some Initiate feat from FR that lets Cleric and Bard levels stack for Bardic Music? How about giving Caro that and Words of Creation in order to make her bardic music... not suck?  There was also some feat that allowed BM to not interfere with spellcasting, I think. The works.

Isn't there some Initiate feat from FR that lets Cleric and Bard levels stack for Bardic Music? Yes, but I couldn't find it... until now. Initiate of Milil. Wasn't there a spell which increased the reach of a weapon, for Schlangenform? Failing that, what other transformable weapons are out there? I could get pretty close with an elvencraft longbow (doubles as a quarterstaff) with one end given the shielding enchantment (turns into a heavy shield) and the other a morphing weapon, but that takes too long to change forms. EDIT: Found a 3.0 psionic power called reach. Also, greatreach bracers MIC.

A quick look through Spell Compendium didn't reveal anything except Extend Tantacles (which only works on, you guessed it, tentacles) and Thunderlance, which sort-of increases your reach by giving you a weapon with a reach of 20 ft. Then there are, of course, all affects that increase your size.

Found a spell in PHB II named Stretch Weapon that increases a weapon's reach by 5 ft. It only works on weapons you're wielding, though, so no ally-buffing.

Hmm... I should probably rewrite Caro as a sublime chord, for consistency's sake. The later music abilities don't really fit, so two levels at most before entering a PrC which fully advances casting. Or maybe you could spare me the work?  Did I mention Fate's stats have been expanded?

No, but I noticed on my own. Here's my take on Signum: Lesser Aasimar (or Human) Cleric 6/Crusader 1/Ruby Knight Vindicator 7/Ordained Champion 5/Prestige Paladin 1 Feats: As OP, but add a flaw or flaws (which?) for Battle Blessing. Possibly swap Celerity domain for Travel Devotion. Equipment: As OP, plus lots and lots of Nightsticks. Yuuno: Sorcerer 7/Initiate of the Seven Veils 7/Argent Savant 4. I've said this before: Vita should be a Dream Dwarf. She's too awesome to have a Charisma penalty (higher Cha also synergizes better with the build).

Ordained Champion requires you to worship Heironeous. Equipment: As OP, plus lots and lots of Nightsticks. Well, that's assumed.  I've said this before: Vita should be a Dream Dwarf. She's too awesome to have a Charisma penalty (higher Cha also synergizes better with the build).  ...and now she is.

Ordained Champion requires you to worship Heironeous. Does Signum worship either?  The deity prereqs are pretty much just flavor (at the very least, for RKV they are 100% fluff. There's literally nothing tying mechanically into your choice of deity), and reflavoring is basically what we do here, no? I guess if you want to keep it fully RAW, you're right. For Caro, going Druid/Wizard/Arcane Heirophant might also work. For a SC build, how about ripping off that Spellthief build that gets to CL 84 and making voltaire a three-headed 168 HD Gold Dragon?
