Flexible Mind from Dragon magazine gives you two skills as class skills. You may have to be chaotic though. I forget.

Doesn't raise the skill cap from (3+HD)/2.

I know you don't like UA all that much, but there *is* a feat in UA that makes a skill a class skill for you.

http://www.d20srd.org/srd/variant/buildingCharacters/alternativeSkillSystems.htm#skillKnowledge

I've done that in the past to take care of some random skill-point issues on obscure builds.

Of course, we're dodging the assumption - when comparing spirit shaman to druid, what's the arena of the comparison? I'm not sure sneakiness is the end-all part of druidic power.

How about this : Wild Shape into an Invisible Stalker and then use an Eternal Wand/Scroll of Hunter's Eye.  Backstab him to hell and back Smile  And on the off chance he's prepared for a sneaky druid, make sure you've got all those nice Wild Shape feats to speed up Wild Shaping (or Planar Touchstone) and then Wild Shape into something very unpleasant.  My current Wild Shape Mystic Ranger will be doing the Fleshraking Tango in one more level, and IMO it won't lose it's touch even at 20 with the broken wonder that is Venomfire.  Hell, you've got feats to burn...take Searing Spell just to be sure in the event he snags a form/spell to be immune/resistant to fire, especially if he knows how wicked Venomfire is.

There's actually a feat in Oriental Adventures called Versatile. It allows you to pick any two skills as your class skills. That should be exactly what you're looking for.

It's actually in the Rokugan Campaign Setting.

A couple of water benders, a dike, a flaming arrow, and a few barrels of blasting jelly?

Sounds like the makings of a gay porn film.
...thanks
