Spell Compendium must have been chosen by the party caster. Races of Stone was perhaps chosen by the dedicated meleer, who wants to be a Goliath.
So really, this is pretty hypothetical. I think optimising a Factotum to keep up damage wise isn't THAT simple, and will usually involve a few books. Therefore to the average partial optimiser a factotum will be weaker than a rogue.
Which is another thing, lans Tier assumes two books per person, and says nothing about using books that other people in the group are using, but we all know you could. And people don't go out any buy OA to play their fucking facototums.
If you actually do have all these books, and each person chooses two, and you all pool, the Rogue can just be a Pounce Rogue who Iajitsus anyway, because only half you Iajitsu check has anything to do with skill ranks anyway. And it's not like the party meleer is going to choose Races of Stone before Complete Champion.

It's almost like that's not a valid use of sleight of hand, and still doesn't address the issue where you have to have multiple magic weapons and are targeting regular AC with fewer attacks.
A factotum can take Multiweapon Fighting. He just doesn't get the benefit of it when he's not Alter Self'd. So the factotum can Iaijutsu Focus 40 times per round.
We can one-up each other all damn day. They're both good classes. Just shut up about it.
Alter self into a form with 40 attacks once per day. Seriously wooden, I know you are smarter than this. Everyone on this board sucks the Factotum's dick so hard because he's a better rogue that does less damage and is less useful in combat even with Iajitsu, and your answer is that Alter self into a form with 40 attacks and he's better? Fuck, don't even bother taking multi weapon fighting. Just Alter Self into a form with Over 9000 attacks. Oh wait, there are none, just like there are non with 40.
If you are going to get on your knees, at least make sure the dick is there to suck.
