The question here, and even more so, the response rated at 100% Tongue

Has anyone really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like?

Quote from: answer 100%
You've got to be kidding me. I've been further even more decided to use even go need to do look more as anyone can. Can you really be far even as decided half as much to use go wish for that? My guess is that when one really been far even as decided once to use even go want, it is then that he has really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like. It's just common sense.

I decided to use even go want to do look more like before it was cool to use even go want to do look more like. I have even really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like, that I stopped doing look more like a long time ago, and now I just use even go want to do look more like with scissors, a box set of Kenan & Kel on DVD, a 4 gigabyte SD card, and a frayed ethernet cable.

I hope this is really been far to do more answers for you to even go want.

I actually read the question three times before I realized the problem wasn't on my end. Wink

When looking for a copy or The Kalevala on amazon, it also offered to send me a book with CDs designed to teach someone to speak Finnish.  For 10 bucks.  I'm debating if my inability to walk away from something I feel is making a direct challenge to me is going break me Tongue.
Learn Finnish with a course that has a value of ten bucks? Give it a go and tell me how that worked for you. I am quite sure I can estimate the results pretty well. Heck, I'd probably be a better teacher.

Sitä paitsi, suomi on sen verran helppoa, ettei siihen mitään perkeleen opettajaa tarvita.

It has what? Like 15 grammatical case suffixes? That'd be quite a bit to learn for someone used to English... though I have heard of success stories.

Yare yare, motto hataraku ga aru yo...

I asked, "Ah, you would like to learn? If you bring me catgirls and food, I'll teach you."

Yes, I realize 'jin' in this case is generic, as it literally means 'people', but I'm sure you know the gender I meant.

If you had said "nekomimi" I would have understood.

Yare yare, motto hataraku ga aru yo...
Let's see...

"yare yare" roughly means "good grief"

I believe "motto" means "more"

"yo" is an intensifier. "aru yo" is a variant.

"ga" is likely a tense of "to be"

That just leaves "hataraku", which this site says means "to work"

I'm guessing "Good grief, not more work!"

Anyway, here's your catgirls and food:

I once played a Wizard who was an extremely logical fellow and used Lojban for his verbal spell components. It sounded nicely arcane and described the precise effect of the spell, which was a lot of fun.

Close, but not quite. It literally means "Good grief, lots of work [to be done]." Ga is a particle that can either be used instead of ha (wa) to denote a strong feeling/emphasis or to denote possession (similar to 's, as in "Tanaka's home"), but is also used before the verb arimasu (aru for short), which literally means "to exist" or "to have", used for emotions or inanimate objects. (It's also an auxiliary verb similar to the english verb "to have", which in conjunction with the -te form, denotes an ongoing existence/circunstance, such as yondeiru (living) or asondeiru (playing).)

Chinese-descended characters in Japanese stories tend to add 'aru' to the end of their lines as a quirk, similar to how in some works the Chinese say "me love you long time" or such. It's the Japanese equivalent to Engrish... in Japanese.  Big Grin

Granted I haven't used my Japanese in a few years, but I'm pretty sure you can't use ga to denote possession. One does not say Kuro ga kuruma, but Kuro no kuruma.  If ga can be used that way, I suspect it's a specific dialect. Even I readily admit I tend toward Osaka-fu when I catch myself speaking Japanese.

No, but one DOES say Kuro wa kuruma ga motteiru.  Smile Ga is used to denote possession in conjunction with iru or aru (as well as existence as pointed out before). Sorry if that wasn't clear.

Another example (though of something different):

Dare ga iru ka = Who is there? (you establish that there is someone there, but you don't know who)
Dare ka iru ka = Is anyone there (you wish to know IF there is someone there)

And then there's waga, which is an elegant form of "I" (also the contraction of ware + ga or watashi ga), but you use it to denote possession again.

Example: waga namae wa Kuro (my name [the name of this being] is Kuro).
