"Urusee. Ore ha yondeiru mienee no ka?" ...you shouted at him in Japanese? ...and in a Kansai accent I think?

Slurring -ai syllables to -ee is typically done by rough-talking guys, which fits Kuro to a T. For an English analogue, "urusai"="shut up", "urusee"="shaddap". From what I can tell, it's "Shaddap! Can't ya see I'm readin'?"

Kuro, if you ever figure out how you always manage to end up in situations like these, promise you'll tell me

Your Japanese is improving quite a bit, Agita. That's exactly what I said. From an "understanding phrases" standpoint, maybe. Subtitles original language series are good for catching things like the slurring and general vocabulary, but from a general grammar standpoint I'm still low on the ladder, and I can't read Kanji worth crap (that last one is my biggest failing).

Likewise for me on the kanji. It's undeniably the hardest part of Japanese. If I may suggest, download NJStar WP. It has a nifty little function where if you input a verb in its infinitive form it will provide you with a comprehensive list of forms the verb may take (present/past continuous tense, future tense, etc.), it's great if you want to learn the proper way to conjugate your verbs. From then on grammar is a cinch.

So...aren't we supposed to self-prune threads every 50 pages? How did this make twice that?

A gygaxian dungeon is like the world's most messed up game show.
Behind door number one: INSTANT DEATH! Behind door number 2: A magic crown! Behind door number 3: 4d6 giant bees, and THREE HUNDRED POUNDS OF HONEY! They don't/haven't, was the point. 3.5 is as dead as people not liking nice tits.
Sometimes, their tits (3.5) get enhancements (houserules), but that doesn't mean people don't like nice tits.
Though sometimes, the surgeon (DM) botches them pretty bad...
Best metaphor I have seen in a long time. I give you much fu. Three Errata for the Mage-kings under the sky, Seven for the Barbarian-lords in their halls of stone, Nine for Mortal Monks doomed to die, One for the Wizard on his dark throne In the Land of Charop where the Shadows lie.

Clearly, this is the thread that shall pierce the heavens. Seconded. I think we just lost track of when we were supposed to stop, and let it grow.

If you stop ignoring 289 pages telling what the intent is to stretch "more power" in your own god complexion of your interpretation trumps all to cover ability adjustments from aging then I will ignore a quarter page of rules that exist within a sidebar.
I think in this case the grammar is less important than whether the Str and Dex bonus provided to your created undead scales.

That was mildly disturbing mildly?!?!?! just "mildly"? Once you've remained sober in the company of university students who like to get really drunk a few times too many you gain a certain amount of resistance to disturbing stuff.

The mind transcends the body. It's also a little cold because of that. Please get it a blanket. I wish I could read your mind, I can barely read mine. "Skynet begins to learn at a geometric rate. It becomes self-aware at 2:14 a.m. Eastern time, August 29th. At 2:15, it begins rolling up characters."
"Just what do you think the moon up in the sky is? Everyone sees that big, round shiny thing and thinks there must be something round up there, right? That's just silly. The truth is much more awesome than that. You can almost never see the real Moon, and its appearance is death to humans. You can only see the Moon when it's reflected in things. And the things it reflects in, like water or glass, can all be broken, right? Since the moon you see in the sky is just being reflected in the heavens, if you tear open the heavens it's easy to break it~" -Ibuki Suika, on overkill

No? I do. And I have pictures. Pictures which will be winging their way towards the porn sites of my choice if you don't do me a lil favor..."
