I'm doing an incredibly non-official experiment, and I'd like to get some input or help from some people here on the boards.

What I'd like is a quick, three sentence character concept.
You can base it in any game, any setting, any time, using any race, anything.
I'd like to see characters that you haven't played, but there's no way for me to check.

If you would like to help, send your character concept to me in a PM, or post it below in a
spoiler box
.
(I'd like for people not to be influenced by reading other people's entries.)

I'm interested to see what people come up with.

Thanks! Big Grin

Here's one i made up for a half-serious campaign, but never saw playtime Sad.

Everyday Jane(in the campaign world) is possessed (unwillingly)by another normal Jane(this one is from MODERN EARTH)by some strange cosmetic misdirection. Both alter-egos in this (schizophrenic) body has lost all their memories, knowledge, etc, but both of them will eventually get them back. While this is happening, this cocktail of event has infused her(them) with the power of a Psion(or other supernatual-power-weilding entities in your world), which is never heard of in this world.

What's interesting about this character is the 2 alter-egos have to roll un-modified d20s to decide, say if she's gonna take profession(alchemy) OR profession(computer programmer)

spoiler on per dan's request

My name is Bob.

I like to piss off the crazy old woman on the hillside who might be a witch.

I go adventuring to find a cure, because she cursed my penis and it now becomes a were squirrel under the light of the full moon.

Thank you!

I'd appreciate a spoiler box or something for your submissions.  I don't want people to take cues from other people.

Steve the Debacler is the mightiest warrior the world has ever scene. A rare tactical mastermind, this bold adventurer is singlehandedly responsible for his Dwarven Kingdoms leap to the status of world superpower. Few who invoke the wrath of his mighty 10ft pole with a gnome melee character tied to each end live to tell the tale.

A sneaky, very inteligent goblin out to make a name for himself.  He started as a refugee turned pickpocket in a major human city, but now has turned his attention to climbing the ladder of the criminal underworld.  No deed is too dirty or vile for him so long as it furthers his long term goals for greatness: to run the city and everything around it from behind the scenes.

I've got this chaotic neutral warlock character named Illyra I've wanted to play in a game but I haven't had a good DM to run an adventure/campaign for her yet. She's a charismatic manipulator who sows chaos in each town she visits and my ultimate goal with her is to eventually have her "ascend" to a full demon. The idea would be to take Abyssal Heritor feats for much of the beginning of her career and slowly move towards Vile feats, depending on how the events of the campaign unfold.

Well i have a few ideas that have been floating around my head so here we go:

Bard of Vecna. Bard that really wants to know everything and becomes a lich like his favorite deity to be able to do it.

Fat ninja halfling. Inspired by the 101 funny plot hooks. 200lb halfling ninja that breaks into houses and eats all their food and watches their TV, or as close as it gets for the setting.

Brynhildr or her daughter. Take a run at the classic Norse story of a fallen Valkyrie or as a variation her daughter. Daughter can be played from a follow up after her mother's death as trying to redeem her mother or as rejecting the gods for them casting her down.

Ultimate Judoka. I'm big into judo so i thought i would try and make one in D&D using the ToB. Never got it off the ground but i do recall getting a silly high grapple check in my preliminary concept build before changing to something else.

The Savant. A wizard or Psion with Asperger's Syndrom, to show a highly intelligent but socially challenged character. Likely a bit more like the tv character House rather than the main character of Rain Man.

Resident Useful. A necromancer who views undead entirely as tools to get the job done. This is justifiable as a Neutral not evil character and can even convince some character that undead aren't inherently bad.

Monstrously Delicious. A mindflayer cannibal that finds his own kind so much tastier than other lesser beings. Good way to get a monster character into a regular party once they are high enough level.

Commander and Tank of the Army. Crusader, or maybe Warblade, that is a general at the head of the army. Makes liberal uses of self-healing and White Raven school to ensure his forces are at their utmost potential.

Sleeper agent. A character who has been subconsciously programmed as an assassin and doesn't even know it. When triggered by the BBEG they will kill a person of importance and then the group has to deal with them acting totally out of character and help save them, assuming the party wants to help their friend.

Clerics and Druids are like the 4 and 2 in 42. Together they are the answer to the ultimate question in D&D.
Retire the character before the DM smacks you with the Table as the book will feel totally inadequate now.-Hazren

Seek - A mechanical creature (warforged, sentient golem, etc) designed for war, but mentally unsatisfied with combat. he combs the world for every aspect of knowledge available (if magic/power/etc can be obtained in written for, he's determined to get it all). In D&D he's an archivist designing a scrollbook to hold every spell in existance.
Ixelan - I got to play him for a couple sessions, but never fully developed his character. He's an angelic descended human (aasimar) who worships himself as a god. he's determined to ascend to godhood regardless of cost (planned on going lich to gain the first step to immortality).

I have been in love with the Medusa Ilyria since I was a child despite her being an immortal monster.

Asking what it would take to gain her hand in marriage, or at least a chance at some finely scaled buttcheek she replied "get revenge on the deity who killed my sister."

I have therefore decided to kick Vecna's bony ass.

Hello, I'm Ditch. I'm a halfling Barbarian that fights with umbrellas. I have a cohort called Bob, who's a halfling-sized skeleton bard.
I am Revoir. I'm a macho swordsman hairstylist who fights with double swords that unite to make a giant scissor. I judge people's intentions by their haircut - villains have bad hair, good guys have great hair!
Collant the Barbarian is gay. He dresses in a pink tutu and wields a +5 battleaxe of flaming ribbons, which he uses for intimidation purposes. He only goes into a rage when someone says gay people can't marry or when Sex and the city gets bashed on the web.
Collant's brother, Cassock, is a pacifist Frenzied Berserker who thinks his brother is the black sheep of the family. He preaches to people about the Lord Pelor's word and bashes people who disagree with him on the head with a quarterstaff that only deals subdual damage. He has a pet ostrich called Giggles.

In a game I'm playing on Myth Weavers

#62636: an as of yet unidentified monster. He cannot speak, read, or write, communicating through charades. He goes on killing rampages if he goes more than one day without chocolate
A character I made for a required fiction story

Antigonicon: Death incarnate, he is a giant three-dimensional shadow. He is dangerously insane and is more powerful than any being in existence, growing more powerful than a new being of equal to greater power than him. He spends most of his time in philosophical conversations with people he is about to kill or fighting his foes with the power of dance.
A character I've always wanted to play

Grr: One day Jack and Jill went up the hill, and only to be killed by a raging monstrosity. Escaped from the land of fairytales, Grr wishes to install fear into the hearts of the all, but is hindered by the fact that he is an adorable little dragon thingy. He is often confused by reality, as it does not follow the Tropes, the basic foundation of his reality.
A character who never saw the light of day

Yami Karite: A psionic rat ronin. Yami Karite comes from a clan of athromorphic rats who were all killed by the Empire. Yami Karite was the only surviver. He now works as the head chef at a small restaurant.

Beast Wars all over again... Barbarian Warforged with levels in Bear Warrior. Abducted in the early stages of development by the fey he was meant to kill, a warforged finds his body twisted and altered by master woodshapers (dryad druids), and instructed in the barbarian ways. Thus, where he was supposed to aid humanity in eradicating the forces of nature, he is now used to prevent the incursion of humans into the Feylands
or
There is a humanoid creature no one knows. When put into a fight part of his body generates armor plating and a floating dynamo, which he powers with his own life force, infusing his strikes with electricity at the sacrifice of his wellbeing

Far-eastern themed campaign setting with a substantial dose of steampunk. Warforged Assassin with Adamantine Body, Dungeoncrasher, Warforged Juggernaut, the works, and no Assassin levels. Relies on nobody expecting him to be an assassin due to aforementioned lack of stealth and because of high Bluff and Disguise.

I made this one for a modern-times campaign using 3.5 rules that never really got off the ground.

A brilliant and extremely genre savvy actor and playwright who started making plans to take over the world in a bout of teenage angst, wanting to immortalize himself for all times as the one guy who actually managed to take over the world. Over time, his goal shifted to creating a megalomaniacal play with his friends (the other PCs) as its heroes, himself as the villain and the real world as the stage.

Actually, I'd really like to play this guy sometime.
