Skoriwann hesitates for a second before moving closer to the monster, down the passageway.

OOC:
Double move 60' down the hallway to where everyone else is. If a tumble check is required, (although, since it's grappling...) 1d20+15=30 Will that suffice?

Finding that the water goes all the way to the top of the passage, Wræthlyr grabs for handhold there, and if successful, starts crawling back towards the initial chamber.

Delay until after Mans, hoping he has a way to take care of his predicament, 'cause I got nothing to aid him with that, and I don't want him to get in the way of my powers. Hint: use your Anklet of Translocation

After that I'll probably go with an Energy Wall or Energy Stun Smile

Vyth waits for an opening to use his powers without endangering Turelio.

Turelio uses the anklet of translocation to teleport 10' out of the monsters grasp. Where is my phantom steed? If it's within range, I would like to move to it/have it move to me, mount it and then get to safety and out of the way, as high up as possible.

You forgot a roll. The Reflex save. 1d20=3 Oh noes, your ridiculous monstrosity with better DR higher AB more damage, pounce, more HP than your actual encounter get's washed away. Remind me why I okayed that 3.0 website prestige class again? Oh wait, I remember, I didn't because you never asked.

Actually, the above statements and rolls still apply should they come up, but in fact, you don't cast Astral Construct, because you only have a standard action, so the one round casting time would have to wait until after your action next round.

Ugh, forgot about the manifesting time, first time working with psionics and I haven't gotten much sleep lately Embarrassed . Gimme 10 minutes to edit my post.
As for ridiculous monstrosity, please, it get an extra menu ability or 2, for the rest it's a basic astral construct. For fuck's sake, it's a melee goon.

Besides, didn't you okay all character sheets? I've had mine up for long enough. If you note minor things like languages you've noticed the (3.5 by the way) classes as well

Swift: Temporal Acceleration, 15pp, 2 rounds of apparent time.

Apparent round 1:
Manifest Astral Construct, going with a melee type to try and draw attention away from the party.

Going with Extra Attack, Pounce, Improved Swim and Muscle abilities (all from Menu B).

Str 43/Dex 13/Con -/Int -/Wis 11/Cha 10;
HP 118;
DR 15/magic
AC 29/touch 10/flat-footed 28;
Fort +5; Ref +6; Will +5;
movement 40, Swim 60;
3 slams +27, 1d8+16;
Grapple +32

Duration is 15 minutes.

As soon as possible (aka when apparent time ends and my normal turn resumes) it charges the water-elemental-thing, using its third attack to try and initiate a grapple.

Attacks (pounce, not including +2 for charging): 41; 33; 36, so 43; 35; 38 with charge bonus, last one is a touch attack to initiate Grapple.
Damage for first 2 attacks: 18; 24

Grapple: 45

Ref Save: 3 (Like you rolled, sorry I forgot about that. Is that necessary with a Swim speed?)

Apparent round 2:
Get up, in case it's necessary: Ref 22
Manifest Greater Concealing Amorpha, granting me total concealment (50% miss chance) for 15 rounds.

End Temporal Acceleration.
Standard Action: Bestow Power: ML13, Overchannel to ML15 (using Psicrystal's focus), Midnight Augmentation, 15pp; gain 24pp

Psicrystal regains focus.

Utility Construct stays in front of me to block any charges etc.

End turn (Shaken).

(yes, this was a slight nova, and yes, I enjoyed it, I've got to get some crap out of my system)

Your construct gets pushed 60ft down stream and can't charge when time resumes. Waiting on Generic.

Hope he makes the save Smile

By the way, is it a one time thing, or do we need to save every round?
Would be nice to know for future posts.

EDIT: Any way to ignore the waterflow? The monster doesn't seem troubled.

1) The Monster is made of water.
2) The Monster has yet to go while the torrent was active, and unfortunately simulation is not perfect, so he is not a Schroedinger monster who occupies multiple places during the round.
3) You know who else is handling it just fine? Everyone who made their save. I gave out add hoc bonuses for fly and swim speed. Wanna guess what the ad hoc is for being made out of water?

I've never done this encounter before, so It never occurred to me how to deal with future rounds, and if it should change. Upon reflection, I decided that it was a high reflex save for the initial torrent that was by surprise, and on future rounds it will be a much lower fortitude save to control yourself against the water.

Skoriwann focuses for a second, launching a volley of arrows at the sentient water blob.

Using Rapid Shot, To hit at +20/+20/+20/+20/+15/+15/+10/+10, Since I'm not within 30'.

1d20+20=40, 1d20+20=26, 1d20+20=34, 1d20+20=23, 1d20+15=28, 1d20+15=20, 1d20+10=27, 1d20+10=12 And a critical!! Woo. Probably not x3, since this has no vital areas, but i'll amend my post if it is.

Damage assuming they all hit: 1d6+9+1d6=13, 1d6+9+1d6=13, 1d6+9+1d6=19, 1d6+9+1d6=14, 1d6+9+1d6=14, 1d6+9+1d6=20, 1d6+9+1d6=16, 1d6+9+1d6=17 pretty good, I hope. If one misses, just take one of the damages off.

The creature takes a few slaps at Falden, landing one and doing 30 damage and initiating a grapple (used your counter to block one). Meanwhile, from above in the previous room, a giant rotting fish with skin and muscle falling off descends. It begins a chanting and immediately a large shimmering wall appears, blocking off the entrance to the cavern, sealing out all but Skori. Then strikes out at him, hitting with three tentacles (28 damage) and a sickening feeling swarms over him (Roll four DC 23 fort saves).

With the water blocked off, the torrent is no longer going, so there is no need for saves of any kind. Skori is effectively standing on the bottom of a lake, holding his breath.

The creature
The creature appears to be some sort of undead aboleth, retaining skin and combat abilities.

Skori only
You made your will save to recognize it as not an undead Aboleth, but a regular Aboleth under an illusion effect.

Skoriwann is somewhat surprised when a shimmering wall appears between the cavern and the tunnel. Turning, he is hit by 3 tentacles. He grimaces, and...

Did you count the 20% concealment? I'm going to assume all 3 attacks hit anyway. Whats the 4th fort save from?

HP: 133/161
AC: 20

Fort Saves: 1d20+10=20, 1d20+10=28, 1d20+10=25, 1d20+10=26 Failed one. That sucks.

Yeah, PCs beatdown time. Forgot to say, you are ten feet from it. It's a Huge creature, so 5ft stepping has a good chance of getting out of it's reach.

Kaelik:
At least 5' step, but question, is this entire place considered "shadowy"? What are the walls made of? It will influence my actions.

Walls are same black stone as the outside and everything else. You are in the shadowy part of Continual Flame Torch, but if the Aboleth is using any other way of keeping track of you, (Darkvision) Then it isn't shadowy for the purposes of hiding.

And how would said black stone work with Meld With Stone? I'm going to assume it does, but if not, I'm probably screwed. I don't know the specifics of an Aboleth, and this one can apparently create water constructs, but i don't think i can beat it solo. Now, my movement assumes that I am on the outside of this Aboleth's reach, and within 30' of any wall. if not, i'll change it.

Skoriwann backs up, then launches a couple arrows at the giant fish.

5' step, followed by full attack with Rapid Shot

HP: 133/161
AC: 20

Attack Rolls:1d20+20=31, 1d20+20=28, 1d20+20=32, 1d20+20=36, 1d20+15=20, 1d20+15=35, 1d20+10=25, 1d20+10 =15Woo. There is a critical in there, but i'll wait for you to confirm hits or misses. EDIT: If it matters at all, every single one of those should be +1.

And Damage is... 1d6+1d6+10=14, 1d6+1d6+10=17, 1d6+1d6+10=18, 1d6+1d6+10=13, 1d6+1d6+10=16, 1d6+1d6+10=15, 1d6+1d6+10=21, 1d6+1d6+10=13, or 127 total. Of that, 23 is Electric Damage, if that interacts with water in any way. This is not counting the possible critical i got in there somewhere. How would you like me to deal with it?
