Maybe we're a little better off than I thought, then.

Say, Jace. Whose horses are where? Which horse took off with Jack and Jackson, and which one are we riding, or is that j0lt's call?

Sorry 'bout the delay guys, just posted in-game.

Looks like we've got some more tracking to do...

I'm pretty sure that is j0lts call-- but he and I discussed that it was highly likely that I could have tied Jack & Jackson to Jackson's own horse, the one that I had been riding.

I have no idea who this other horse belongs too!

Well awesome. We don't have to worry about someone being pissed off about their horse being stolen for the greater good (or our own stupidity... I guess time will tell). Now we just need to worry about them being pissed off because we took off without saying anything.  Laugh

Oh, and j0lt, what are the lighting conditions now? How far can we see ahead? Can I make out anything on the ground, or would that require a spot check?

Yeah, I decided to roll randomly on that one since it's dark and Zeke picked the first horse he saw.  Your number happened to come up, so it's all good.

It's still several hours before dawn, so to see anything except directly in front of the horizon, you'll need to make checks.

Heh. I can scarcely imagine what terrible fate would have befallen us if we'd gotten the Doc's horse...

Toss-up between "bite marks all over" and "kicked by an irritable horse", I'd say.

Sean nods to himself slowly, then turns around and slowly enters the burning building.  He's pretty sure that there is still a fiend around here, and he's going to send it back to Hell.

The last place you guys saw the Jumping Jack was behind the burning building, not in it.

Sean is pretty sure that the Jumping Jack is hiding inside of the building.  It's not like the Jack couldn't have jumped into a higher story window or anything.

Don't worry, he's just going to peek around, no planning on climbing stairs or anything.

Uhhh... sooo... what's the hold-up?

EDIT: Oh, also, I'm starting classes this week, so I might be on less than normal - at least until I can get the hang of things.

The hold up is nearly half the players aren't posting, which really lowers my motivation to continue.  I could just ignore characters until that player posts, but then they'll be WAY behind and miss turns in combat, etc...
