Yep, but they're a good 15+ feet up from the ground.

Jackson's the only one who brought his horse with him, right? If anyone else has their horse nearby, I'd ask them to get their blankets as well.

Welcome aboard Nanshork, that is if your character doesn't faceplant into a fire and burn to death.

Sorry for the brief absence. I may have mentioned somewhere that I'd be moving soon, well that happened yesterday and I only got around to hooking my computer up to the internet late last night. I'm back now, though.

On a slightly random note, has anyone here played a d20Modern game with blind HP before? It's a bit of extra work on the GM, but I can imagine it'd work rather nicely in d20Modern, maybe even if this campaign if people want to try it. For those who don't know: Blind HP = GM keeps track of your HP, and you can't see it. He tells you roughly how tore up you feel/look, but you don't know exact numbers. I haven't tried it before, but I imagine it could make combat a lot more cover-oriented.

That's pretty much what I'm doing here. I've got my damage notes saved to a .DOC file. I'm trying to keep the GM posts entirely narrative, as opposed to filled with numbers.

Ah. I see. Edited my initiative into my last in-game post. And as to your post in the main game, liar! You PM'd me what my damage was when ol' Jack breathed fire on the top of the train.

Yeah, this is looking like it's gonna start about as well as the cannibal battle in The Artifact!

I can't remember. Am I still considered flat-footed until my initiative comes up, or is it only for the surprise round? If it's only for the surprise round, don't I get an attack of opportunity on the Jack? If Cedric is still considered flatfooted, then I guess yeah, his actions stay the same... with the exception of - you know - having to walk a couple of feet and hit the fiend while he's on the ground.
Edit: I think invisiblecastle uses my main group GM's orange d20's. I can't think of a more cursed set of die.
