Sean immediately stands up, grabbing his rifle.  He runs towards the back of the Saloon yelling behind him, "I don't know who you fella's are but those two demons need to be exorcised!"

"Did you just say 'two'?!" Frank shouts as he runs after Sean, drawing his S&W as he goes.

A long line of curses Cedric learned in the army come to mind, but he's too busy to mutter them as he hops in after the others - In a burning bar of all places...

"Two?! What do you--Hey! Get back here, you just fell off a balcony!" Bones calls after the retreating man. Seeing his companions reaching for their guns, he does the same, feeling slightly reassured by the weight of the revolver. The doctor trots after the others, hoping that their new acquaintance just miscounted. Not damned likely, though--only an idiot couldn't tell one from two.

...Here's hoping this guy's an idiot. If he ain't, we've got double the mess.

Sean lets out a short bitter laugh directed behind him.  "Yes two.  And I'm going to send them back to Hell for what they've done, a few hurt ribs mean nothing compared to that!"

As you rush around the corner in back of the saloon, you all hear a gunshot from off in the direction of the horses.

Spot checks, please.

Bones, Sean & Frank
You think you can see something moving in the darkness just beyond the area lit by the fire.

"Something's over there," the doctor says, a slight edge noticeable in his voice as he levels his revolver in the direction of the movement.

I look, but I couldn't make out anything. "What are you, an owl?"

Sean lifts his rifle up to a firing position, advancing on the shadowy movement.

Frank follows his companions, revolver at the ready.

"The doc's right though, preacher, there's definitely someone, or something, there..." he says, focusing on the shape visible in the distance.

Despite not seeing what they're going on about, I pull my revolver just the same. I tried to listen for the sound of anything approaching in the darkness. (Listen =19 Take Ten).

Cedric was too busy wiping sweat from his brow -ironically to keep his vision clear- to notice what the others warned of. He keeps his rifle ready in the appointed direction, despite being unable to see where the other demon is.

The five of you stare into the darkness...

Zeke
You can hear the sound of leather boots moving about, but with all the echoes in the area it's hard to pinpoint exactly where they're coming from.

Another gunshot is heard from the direction of the horses.

Bones is clearly agitated, his right arm tensing visibly as he keeps his gun trained on the moving...thing in the distance.

"Last I checked," he mutters to the rest of the group, "Our man Jack had no gun. Which means Jackson's likely in a mess. Now we can wait here until our arms drop off, or we can head back there, where we'll have a boost in numbers--and a couple of horses, need be. Splittin' up ain't a great plan, not with these fellas out there all stealthlike."
