Mmh? What book are you using? Does Sidewinder have different stats for the weapons than D20 Past? I've just been using the weapon stat blocks in D20 Past...
Do you think Evasion is better than Uncanny Dodge I?
You're right about the saves, that was a holdover from my previous build I think...

It does, they were done independently and by different companies. You can use whichever you like, but I think the ones in Sidewinder are a little stronger. Evasion is definitely better, and you also need it to get Uncanny Dodge.

*headdesk* Forgot about Evasion as a prereq... Got the stats for the S&W Model No. 3 Schofield revolver on hand by any chance? Or the closest thing... (thinking about getting a revolver anyway  ) Also, any price on autoloaders?  EDIT: Updated sheet

Schofield is 2d6, range 30, $28 (someone in the group has one/reload time: 1 full-round action) Peacemaker has the same stats, but is only $18 (reload time: 2 full-round actions Colt Walker Dragoon is a .44 - 2d6, range 40, $20 (replace cylinder: 4 full-round actions)
There are also a couple double-action revolvers (you don't need to manually cock the hammer) Colt Thunderer, same stats and price as the Schofield. (reload time: 2 full-round actions)

Does double action provide any real benefits in terms of game mechanics?
I mainly went with the Schofield because it's a top break revolver, so a valid target for a speed loader (speaking of which, got a price estimate on that?)...

Single-Action RevolversWhen using a single-action revolver (as opposed to a double-action revolver), the hammer must be manually cocked; the cowpoke using such a hogleg first cocks the hammer and then pulls the trigger to fire a shot. This makes for a bit slower draw-and-fire action, but it allows the shooter to use various feats to fire off more than one bullet per attack (see the Slip Hammer and Hammer down feats)... Double-Action RevolversDouble-action revolvers are both cocked and fired by simply pulling the trigger, giving them a slight edge when performing a fast draw.Characters using double-action revolvers receive a +1 equipment bonus to initiative checks occurring during a Showdown. In addition, due to their quick operation, experienced gunfighters can use the Double Tap feat to fire off more that one bullet in an attack. However, as a compensating drawback, due to the stiff trigger action, most double-action revolvers of the period were less accurate than their single-action kin. Unless otherwise noted, characters using double-action revolvers suffer a -1 penalty to hit. Speedloaders hadn't been invented yet, but some gunslingers carried a few extra cylinders with them and just replaced the whole cylinder, which was much faster than reloading each cartridge. I'll rule that a spare cylinder costs 1/10th of the full price of the revolver, so a spare cylinder for a Schofield would cost $2.80 and weigh half a pound.

But longer reload time...
EDIT: What would the reload times be for the Schofield and Thunderer when swapping the entire cylinder instead of reloading each cartridge individually?

I like the Schofield. It was pretty much the only weapon I saw with a tolerable reloading time...but then, I'm not really combat oriented, so it won't matter so much.

No idea. Maybe those weapons are more difficult to disassemble? I don't think it really fits the feel of the old west, so I'm gonna say no for now. If we find that we REALLY need 'em, I may introduce them later.
