Thank you gentleman, due to some family upheaval I have been a little late getting my the article out this week. (well actually two weeks ago). I was starting to run out of ammo, so I appreciate the fresh material.

300-600 words is the basic idea. If the article is longer I'll take it, but I may want to break it up into a couple of installments.
Aw, crap.

I've got a fairly long essay that I wrote for a class last year regarding the role of "conan" in games. Mostly blasting holes into a lot of the assumptions that lead to the "fighter's don't get nice things" problem of many games. The funny thing was that my proff jumped the paper's mark 20 points after re-reading it, and I had barely changed it between revisions; so the mood of the reader tends to affect their opinion of the paper.
Would something like that work?

Alright, I'll have to send it on monday at the earliest then.
The case for my portable hard drive that I use as most of my file storage recently got fried, but I've got a copy on my network drive at my school's computer network.

Eh, I'll have to see how the data recovery goes. The only work that I'll have lost is from last year, which sucks, but that's my fault I guess.
I'm going over the essay and doing some grammar and clarification editing to it. If it's alright, I'll have it to you on friday.

I've e-mailed you a draft Zeke.
It's the version that I submitted for a writing class about a year ago. It's 'good', since somehow when the professor read the revision, the paper's mark jumped 20 points the second time around. I'm just not happy with certain parts of it.
I'm working on making the introduction more clear and more focused. The rest of the paper might need work, but the intro was what always bugged me. Tell me what you think. Also, yes, you will have to chop this thing into chapters. I submitted a much longer paper than was asked for, but the reason it was accepted was that I needed to draw upon a diverse array of historical supporting material to make one of the key arguments work (or rather, I keep telling myself that).
I might try and dig up my old "Rules for playing Magical Tea-Party" if I can recover the files from my HDD. Hopefully I'll be able get around to that sometime this weekend.
If I'm really lucky, I'll maybe even be able to go out and meet some of my friends, that I've been neglecting for the past.... beginning of the semester, some time this week. Never get into anything time-intensive for study, like engineering, 3D animation, art, physics or chemistry. It's hell on your social life. The humanities majors can at least afford the time to go away for a weekend.

So it is official or as official as anything is. I will be running the cohort, so send any submissions to me Josh@BrilliantGameologists.com We are looking for short to medium (200-600 word) articles or articles that can be broken up into that sized segments. I want to do a soft rollout and upgrade the wordpress then I will do a big push. I should have a better guideline up in the next few days.
