Quick post in case it hasn't been pointed out (I'm starting on the first page here):
The Tortle, from Dragon Magazine 315, have +2 con, +2 wis, -2 dex, -2 cha, +3 NA, and Cleric as a favored class. They have the honor of being the only Non-LA race with Cleric favored.

That hasn't been mentioned anywhere, because, well frankly I didn't know it existed. And after reading them (page 73 for those of you with DR 315) they're actually really solid clerics. Very good choice, if Dragon material is allowed.

Also if you haven't done it yet, or I just missed it, that list of persistable spells would be a nice addition to the HB me thinks

Think TMNT and the stats pfooti mentioned. Medium sized with a dwarf speed, except heavy armor can slow them down. Not really a deterrant, actually. I haven't added (and likely won't unless someone convinces me otherwise) the list of persistable spells for 2 reasons. 1) It's a really fucking long list and I don't know if any of the posts have the space with th character limit currently in place. 2) Not every cleric uses persist and I want the handbook to be a more general handbook than a specific handbook. Really there needs to be a persisting handbook.

Really there needs to be a persisting handbook. I could do this as a joint operation with someone.

The good thing is, persisting isn't too arcane (pun intended). So you need only post a basic list and be willing to edit, as people will rush to provide unmentioned spells.

The Handbook dude ought to be used for that. And no, I don't recall the exact nick anymore though I created the account. Shut up.

You volunteering? I already have an Excel list for DMM persistable spells from the PHB and SpC lying around somewhere.

You volunteering? Not really. I'm sure if I had the motivation I'd find the time (I waste quite a bit of time on the Net after all ) but right now I'm busy with other stuff. To contribute: Key persistable spells that benefit *the party*: - Mass Lesser Vigor (SC, 3) - Recitation (SC, 4) - Righteous Wrath of the Faithful (SC, 5)

Here's my first cleric ever, in an upcoming Age of Worms AP, so since my knowledge of clerics is based on numerous posts around this forum and my own humble research, I'd just like to ask you people who are more experienced with clerics, is this one ok, did I miss a feat or smth like that. So here he is, Gors Rokha, Half-Orc Cleric of Hextor.
STR 20 DEX 12 CON 18 INT 13 WIS 17 CHA 12
Yes, I know, my rolls are insane, I couldn't believe it either. Reason I put 18 on CON is that I think HP is more important before lvl 4 (when I'll put +1 in Wis), since 18 wis would only grant me a bonus spell of 4th lvl, and a +1 on DCs, but since I'll be melee-oriented cleric, I won't bother that much with save-or-___ spells at this point.
Domains: War, Law Feats: Power Attack, Law Devotion
My build will be Cleric 4/Ordained Champion 5/Bone Knight 10/Cleric 1.
1. Power Attack 3. Quicken Spell 6. Divine Metamagic (Quicken Spell) 9. Holy Warrior 12. Extra Turning? 15. Awesome Smite? 18. Knowledge Devotion?
Arms: Armbands of Might (MIC 72) Face: Corsair's Eyepatch (MIC 90), Crystal Mask of Knowledge (MIC 91) Head: Phylactery of Undead Turning +4 (DMG 265), Circlet of Persuasion (DMG 253) Torso: Ephod of Authority +1 (MIC 215) Waist: Belt of Giant Strength (DMG 248) Feet: Anklet of Translocation (MIC 71) Hands: Gauntlets of Ogre Power (DMG 258), Gauntlets of War (CC 140) Rings: Ring of Greater Counterspells (MIC 124), Ring of Spell-battle (MIC 127) Back: Cloak of Charisma (DMG 254) Neck: Periapt of Wisdom (DMG 263), Reliquary Holy Symbol (MIC 120) Held: Talisman of Undeath Mastery (MIC 188), Radiant Sphere (MIC 172), Nightstick (LM), Scepter of the Netherworld +3 (MIC 183)
So, any more suggestions for feats? Those with the question marks I'm not sure I will take, feel free to suggest something else instead, I'm open to suggestions.

I would really suggest Contemplative 1 instead of that last level of cleric.

Well, my DM frowns upon taking too many prestige classes (even these two are a stretch), so I can't... Besides, Hextor has crappy domains anyways.

Weapon of choice? I don't like Knowledge Devotion on this build. Not enough skills to make it worthwhile... Although it's not terrible.
If you're going awesome smite, it sounds like you should be focusing on charging and taking more combat feats for that...
