Anderan and Jose:
You hear the clattering sounds of multiple, armored footsteps approaching rapidly from one end of the street.

Ari:
Apart from the metal tube, some clothes that are now soiled by blood, and a set of tools that appear to be intended for craftsmanship, there is very little worth noting on the elf's body.

Someone drop a fork?

Christian pockets the tube and tools.

Lucilius sheathes his sword, motioning for the others to lower their weapons as well. He takes a step towards the direction of the footsteps and straightens his clothes.

Round the corner appear several armored figures--a mixture of humans and dwarves--wearing badges which identify them (to anyone who has been in Sharn before) as members of the Watch. They appear to have run quite some distance, as their shortness of breath attests, but still look alert and, as their drawn weapons attest, ready for a fight.

A dwarf with a reddish beard that he has plaited into two braids steps forwards, brandishing a disconcertingly sharp axe in the group's general direction and looking quite beside himself.
"Stop right there, criminal scum! Not one of you's to move, or I'll be decorating a nearby lamppost with your innards. That goes for you as well, clanker!", he bellows, directing this last bit towards Christian and punctuating it with an extra swing of his axe, which nearly clips an unfortunate watchman.

"I think we have a bit of a misunderstanding here, officers. Of course, I'm sure we look like a group of terrorists here; if I were in your position, I would think the same thing. However, upon the honor of House Rylth, I assure you we were not the perpetrators here. We will, of course, cooperate fully in any questioning you might have."

Lucilius gives the others a stern glance.

"Ah, right. And I'm sure this fellow here just tripped and fell onto your weapons, isn't that so? Besides, how'm I supposed to believe you when there's no one around to tell me differently?" While no longer waving the axe around with reckless abandon, the dwarf still looks intent on nabbing "the ones what done it", whether or not they really done it or they done it because the elf done it first.

"Oh, the honor of your House? Well, that's different. I guess I can just let you all go skipping through the streets, bloodstained and chipper. Look, mister, I've seen some of your basic nobles engaging in lordly pastimes before. Let me tell you, the contents of a beggar's bowl are often worth more than a House's honor."

Lucilius appears at a loss for words: the law has always sided with him in the past, and it has never questioned the integrity of his heritage.

Harumph, do you see a problem here? Says Christian as he strikes a pose in is Nobles Outfit, regardless of the blood. That devil there has been killed, no thanks to you. Perhaps you should quicken your pace. Loafing cowards.
