In Honor of April Fool's Day we decided to swap podcasts with Z from "Radio Free Hipster" at HipsterPlease.com

While Z did not invent drunken podcasting, he did invent drunken podcasting month, endearing him to all BG fans.

Nerd music shares an important philosophical cornerstone with the gaming community.  Nerd music is a culture of participants.  It is not a passive "turn on the radio and buy the CD."  In fact the only micro culture I know that has as large a percentage of Producers to Consumers is gaming.

Nerd music inspires, not just emotion, but action.  Either directly or indirectly.  Directly by making people want to make their own music, raps, or mashups.  And Indirectly by inspiring other nerd activities like computers, zombie survival and fucking.

I haven't had a chance to listen to his podcast till this week, and must say I quite liked it.  I shall be listening more often  Big Grin
