"Siga." Paco nods agreeably. He leads the way once again.

Cats chasing each other dart past the party.

He steps in line with a group of locals heading south along a main road.
The road that you trod upon is cobble stone. Old traces of animal manure can be seen in odd spots, ground into the cracks of innumerable stones. A general funk hangs in the air.

Palms, ceiba, great ferns. Grow in overgrown clumps along the roadway. A mountain lays just beyond a long clump of trees on your right-hand side. The town and the land lay to the left, sprawling down across the slope of the mountains foothills. Buildings and trees compete for space around here, however as you continue south you can see that the town is less infused. Dogs can be heard barking in the distance.

A broken down 1920’s jalopy blocks traffic as its driver struggles to push it out of the way. Paco leads the group almost in a Congo line through a thick clump of people. Another group gives aid to the hapless man, and help him push it clear.

Turning eastwards at the second road on the left, they pass into the heart of the town itself. At least, this is where the buildings beat back the jungle.
[[ Spot Check,  to take notice of any landmarks. ]]
Dr. Loder keeps his eyes trained along the rooflines, taking note of easily remembered landmarks as he follows closely behind Paco.

Following the rest of his group John tries to take in the environment in case he needs to navigate the town on his own.

Taking in your surroundings; Bees swarm on the corner of a building-- they emit a low steady humming.
Tough looking sailors pass by, they give your group a brief glance, then quickly get distracted by a cluster of prostitutes waving to them from the porch of a home. Some kids run past, chasing a monkey as it chitters excitedly. A wailing of a baby begins from a nearby building. A big black rat runs down an alley, past the PCs. A cat rushes past in pursuit.
Some papers blow past advertising a bar called 'The Pulpit'.
You notice a sign at the corner of an alley. There is the painted outline of a hand with an eyeball.

You are able to get a good look at your surrounding, filing away landmarks for later use.
Paco looks at the group and gives a rise of his eyebrows, the look he gives is clear. Ready?

You continue south, but soon find yourself in heavy pedestrian traffic. It seems that you have found the Market/Bazaar! <Location #2>.

The market bazaar has taken over the main road of Puerta de Santa Boca. Throngs of people weave in and out as they go about buying and selling wares. Along the walls of the buildings, booths have been set up. These booths sell anything ranging from Livestock to Mayan trinkets. The Bazaar area is ripe with human body odor. The humidity makes you feel as if the stench is sticking to you as well.

Many booths and stores carry much of the same thing. The prices listed are the best prices offered amongst the traders.

Paco continues to lead, but is more than willing to allow you to gawk at the booths. [[ There is an exhaustive list of stuff for sale here found on the Map page. Happy shoppings! ]]

Dr. Loder reflexively looks over the Mayan goods to determine any genuine antiques among the trinkets and fakes.

Dr. Loder begins to look at quite a number of Mayan trinkets, figurines, jewelery...

[[ Loder, I already gave you the results of your Forgery check. Max & Kestrel: Take a look at the Market description to see the full list of items that are for sale, there will quite possibly be SOMETHING that would strike your fancy.... Would it have killed me to organized the Market list better? Yes. Yes it would. It's a bazaar, and the haphazard nature of the Market list is supposed to represent the eclectic variety that can be found.

If you guys are ready to continue out of the Market lemme know... ]]

Dr. Loder takes a look around to gather in the sights of the market.

Spot (take 10) = 11

Pointing out a familiar face, Loder exclaims.  "Hey, there's Russo!"

(see you guys in the main thread)

Take 10 for 19, guess I see him as well?

Quickly taking in his surroundings John sees someone he recognizes.

"Heh, good to see those guys made it here as well. You coming as well, Max?" he asks his traveling companion before he starts to follow Dr. Loder to Russo.
