Watching the World Burn in Magnificence

Seeing his prey leave, Eisen moves up the stairs fast to cut them off, over the railing finding his poor targets right beneath him. Lifting his pistol and letting yet another shot loose, he counts the spent bullets as the drumbeats seem to speed up around him. Calling out in the rain, "Richard? You better not have died, you stuck-up Brit!" Eisen seemed to be enjoying this a bit more than he should be...

HP: 26
Shots left after this action: 3
Move Action: Move to T-5
Standard Action: Fire on cannibal J, To-Hit: 22, Damage: 7
Ah, good 'ol invisible castle....

Seeing his prey leave, Eisen moves up the stairs, finding new meat right nearby as he does so. Still too far away to be a real threat, Eisen lifts his pistol and lets another shot loose, as the drumbeats seem to speed up around him. Calling out in the rain, "Richard? You better not have died, you stuck-up Brit!" Eisen seemed to be enjoying this a bit more than he should be...

HP: 26
Shots left after this action: 3
Move Action: Move to V-7
Standard Action: Fire on cannibal L, To-Hit: 22, Damage: 7
Ah, good 'ol invisible castle....

Let it be noted that... Cannibal_L was actually just a figment of your imagination-- He doesn't exist. He WOULD have, but I said fuck it.

So this means you can keep those rolls, but you'll need a new action and target to replace the old.

Richard yells out, "I'm fine, but one of the bastards has Esteban and jumped overboard!"  He then shoots at Cannibal G, hoping that he doesn't wing Esteban, and takes a five foot step to K 20.

Melee AoO using the butt of my Tommygun:
Attack: 19
Damage: 2

John rushes outside and follows the cannibals before unleashing more lead on the rear cannibal. I can't let them reach Bones, especially not in his current state. he thinks to himself.

Move to J9 and Burst Fire on Cannibal_K.

Attack: 18
If necessary, I'll use an action point: 5 for a total of 23.

Damage: 16

Those of you who are the upper decks (ie: Eisen, Richard, Bones, Kestrel...)

You guys see  the slight of at LEAST 30 torches, coming towards the boat from across the water. Likely held by Cannibal Reinforcements coming in dugout canoes...

They will be at the boat, and clambering up it's sides in a screaming fury by Round 10...

The Engine starts with a satisfying rumble, as the steam activates the pistons, and the wheels begin to turn and pump.

The Kid lets out a satisfied hoot, "Whoo-hooo! We DID it Russy!! We DID it!

On Deck, Bones is ready to pull up the Anchor.

Those PCs names that are in bold have already acted on this new/current round.

Hearing that Esteban was in trouble, Loder rushes up the stairs and towards the back where the mules were secured.  He stops (M-17) suddenly upon seeing the lifeless body of his friend Paco.  "Paco?  Oh god no!"

Loder tries to see what he can do for Paco.

But the body is already cold.

Pingo, upon hearing his old companions voice, breaks free from his blood lust. Protecting Bones is his new priority, he owed his life to this man. Pingo turns and runs back into the room, then sees the open hatch. That must be the way Bones took, he thought to himself, then followed.

Would like to use a full round action to move up to four times my normal speed and get me beside Bones if possible.

Closer they come-- some paddling while others held torches. Each dugout held between 3 to 4 savages, each painted for war and armed with spears, knives, bows & arrows, and blowguns. There seemed to between 6 and 8 on either side of the riverboat.

Behind them, from the thick jungles the constant droning of the drum beats pound...*Thrruuum-thrrruuum* *Thrruuum-thrrruuum* *Thrruuum-thrrruuum* *Thrruuum-thrrruuum* *Thrruuum-thrrruuum**Thrruuum-thrrruuum*...

"Thats brilliant kid!! Now lets get the Fu-uh heck out of here!! just keep stoking those fires!" he yells at the kid taking a full round action to leg-it ((up to M-4)) to the top deck ready to help Bones with the anchor

do I have the calculations right there? triple movement since I don't have the 'run' feat for quadruple means I move ninety foot

"come on people lets get this thing moving! And Why are my girls still asleep!?"

((Richard, Eisen are you aware you are standing next to a gun large enough to make the rifles in your hands look dainty? mind you probably not the best thing to take pot shots at a cannibal holding one of your friends with a heavy machine gun))

Bones reaches for the rope hanging over the side of his boat and heaves as fast as he can in an attempt to get the anchor up before the torches reach his prized boat. He remembers the days paddling down the river before he got his baby and doesn't miss them.

He attempts the heave the line anyways...

Strength check (1d20-2=-1)

I don't think that pulling up the Anchor will actually need a strength check-- usually the kid pulls it up, and you're waay stronger than him-- even drunk.

What in my training makes you think I'd actually be any good with your guns?   Anyways, I'm killing these guys in one shot as soon as I hit them, you can fire your girls at the cannibal backup.

ROUND #7  SUMMARY

Those of you who are the upper decks...

We DID it!

18 Richard
Richard yells out, "I'm fine, but one of the bastards has Esteban and jumped overboard!"  He then shoots at Cannibal G, hoping that he doesn't wing Esteban, and takes a five foot step to K 20.

Richard can see two bodies floating face down in the murky river water… one belonging to a very dead cannibal… the other is Esteban, he was unconscious before from a dart, he’ll likely drown if quick action is not taken!

...*Thrruuum-thrrruuum**Thrruuum-thrrruuum**Thrruuum-thrrruuum*... the drums continue their throbbing pulse as the cannibals in dugout canoes come closer… and closer…

13 Russo
"Thats brilliant kid!! Now let’s get the Fu-uh heck out of here!! Just keep stoking those fires!" he yells at the kid taking a full round action to leg-it ((up to M-4)) to the top deck ready to help Bones with the anchor.
"Come on people lets get this thing moving! And why are my girls still asleep!?"

12 Kestrel
John rushes outside and follows the cannibals before unleashing more lead on the rear cannibal. I can't let them reach Bones, especially not in his current state. he thinks to himself.

Move to J9 and Burst Fire on Cannibal_K.

*TAKA-TAKA-TAKA-TAKA-TAKA-TAKA-TAKA-TAKA-TAKA-TAKA-TAKA-TAKA-*
Cannibal_K’s back erupts in a patchwork of blood. The savage collapses to the deck…

8 Loder
Hearing that Esteban was in trouble, Loder rushes up the stairs and towards the back where the mules were secured.  He stops (M-17) suddenly upon seeing the lifeless body of his friend Paco.  "Paco?  Oh god no!"

Loder tries to see what he can do for Paco… But the body is already cold.

7 Pingo
Pingo, upon hearing his old companions voice, breaks free from his blood lust. Protecting Bones is his new priority, he owed his life to this man. Pingo turns and runs back into the room, then sees the open hatch. That must be the way Bones took, he thought to himself, then followed.
Would like to use a full round action to move up to four times my normal speed and get me beside Bones if possible.

3 Eisen
Seeing his prey leave, Eisen moves up the stairs fast to cut them off-- Out the Wheelhouse window-- finding his poor targets right beneath him. Lifting his pistol and letting yet another shot loose,

*Ka-BLAM--!!!!*

He counts the spent bullets as the drumbeats seem to speed up around him. Calling out in the rain, "Richard? You better not have died, you stuck-up Brit!" Eisen seemed to be enjoying this a bit more than he should be...

3 Bones
Bones reaches for the rope hanging over the side of his boat and heaves as fast as he can in an attempt to get the anchor up before the torches reach his prized boat. He remembers the days paddling down the river before he got his baby and doesn't miss them.

He attempts the heave the line--
“Uh....a little help here ...I think it's suck on ...somthin.....”
The rope suddenly yanks up, and Bones is able to pull in the anchor no problem!
“Nevermind!” He corrects.

1 Cannibals

ROUND #8  BEGINS...

Map shows the locations of all parties after the events of Round #7.
All Savages have been cleared from the decks! It’s time to get the hell out of dodge!
Initiative order:
18 Richard
13 Russo
12 Kestrel
8 Loder
7 Pingo
3 Eisen
3 Bones
1 Cannibals in dugouts

I know, I looked at that.  I'm assuming I don't have to tell you that I'm holding my breathe.   Tongue

I'm more concerned that I have a +0 swim check and if the water is Rough or Stormy I'm probably screwed.
