My house has probably burned down, I made a thread in BLYHT with what's going on.
It's awful Nanshork. I've been watching those fires on the news. Horrible. I'm terribly sorry, my friend.

I think its somewhat pausing at the moment with Arch zombified at the moment and the cruddy fires in Central Texas putting Nanshork out of commission.
Jace, I am kind of confused here. Who is Peter the Shaman directing his comments to? The party or just the people addressing him?

I am here. Daughter is home from the hospital, but today was a busy morning at work so I'm just now getting to check any forums or personal mail.

Hey Guys,
I'm just checking to see who is all currently active in this game. It's been a few days since my last post. I'm just curious. I know we all have a lot of shit going on-- you'll notice you're not getting those (you haven't posted in two days) messages, but I'm looking to see who we still have, and who's going forward.
IN GAME there is an NPC who has been brought to the group in response to the fact that members of the group wanted to question him--

I'm around but I'm not sure how much longer I'll have all of this free time. I also no longer have any of my books/resources. I've been avoiding getting back into any games, but I'm not sure how much longer that will last.

I can understand that completely. How much of your area was burned? What are you doing now?

There is a thread about it here. Long story short my house and car are completely gone. I'm living in the living room of an apartment that three of my friends are renting. A family friend gave me a laptop so I have a computer again, and the apartment complex has free (but slow) wifi. So slow that when I want to try and download one of the games that I bought from Steam or its ilk I have to go to someplace like Starbucks. I'm currently on the lookout for a car and a job (I've been unemployed since December). I'm doing okay financially, FEMA and my car insurance took care of me.

So are we to go after the chief's son, or continue with our mission? Or is the side trek just an idea to get the non-returning party members split off so we can continue with the game?
What's the plan for Richard if Nanshork isn't able to play him? I could take over playing him with your blessing Nan and just leave Rose in this village or to go off in search of the boy if the latter is the reason for the side trek.

If you want me to keep playing Richard I can. Things have settled down enough that I can start trying to get back into things. Just remember that I don't have any books and can't level him when the time comes.
