The spot check didn't affect my action at all so I remove the note and spoilers around my action.

I tried to post my action and learned that you had asked for a spot check.

EDIT: Oh, and John runs out of movement on C-10 BTW. But you should still have LoS for your action. So no rushing up stairs.
F-7  to E-8 is 1
E-8 to D9 is +2, so 3
D9 to C9 is +1, so 4
C9 to C10 is +1, so 5
C10 to K10 is +1, so 6 squares total, right?

Or do stairs cost double movement? That might explain my mistake Smile

Ah! Thank you for clarifying your movement. That would be then correct.

I have edited my previous edit. You are between decks.

I'll post soon as I can find where the hell we put Russo's machine guns on the boat...

...The guns went up smoothly on both the prow and aft deck with John's help despite how much Russo fussed over one of them complaining it had been out in the damp for too long, muttering to himself about rusted gams and other rude analogies as he looked the large gun over and under several times. Satisfied and meaning to give them both a good oiling when he got the chance he asked Bones for some rope and fishing it out wherever the man pointed, tying the thick rope securely around the tripods and making them unshiftable through almost anything the water could throw and then a second rope to the back of the guns themselves"just to keep the girls safe"

Between L2 & M2, and between L20 & M20

EDIT: It is my understanding that each gun is in a fixed position, mounted on its tripod, Russo? Either way, I'm sure that they are both facing away from the boat, straight ahead and straight behind.

BATTLE MAPS FEEDBACK?
Okay, we've spent at least 5 rounds in both major combats now-- first the Nazis in the Cantina and this Cannibal Boat Raid that is currently happening.

Both maps have been very different from each other in how I shown characters on the map.

Cantina Map

Halcon Map

Having used both styles, what did you like or didn't like about either of these maps. Tell me why one is better than the other in your opinion. Feedback from everyone would really be appreciated. It will help me in the future!  Big Grin

Thanks in advance!

Hmm...  Both have their advantages.  The Cantina style map does look nicer with the character icons, etc...  But at the same time, it's more busy which is slightly distracting.  The Boat style map is cleaner and easier to see what's going on, but the colored beads are a little drab.  IMO it's kind of a toss up.

+1.  Also, the second map gets kind of confusing when a bunch of guys are right next together.

I agree that for numbers, the first map has advantages, but the second map looks a lot nicer, is a lot cleaner overall, and definitely seemed like an upgrade. I'd go for the second map anytime.

+2. And agreed with Nanshork's addition.

I do like the first one better in that it gets you a sense of how the enemy looks, so you know who you're unleashing a hail of lead on Big Grin

just to be original I'm with the others both are good but in a toss up I personally prefer the cantina style map it's just more fun  Big Grin

that sounds about right but they shouldn't have a problem spinning a complete 360 should the need arise being mounted as they are though the rope would tangle them up if you kept moving it around the same way more than twice, which would be awkward in a real fire-fight

Roll(1d20)+7:
13,+7
Total:20

will this do for now? I'll re-roll once invisible castle kick-starts itself

I can't verify your roll though-- not in any way I can see. It was a good suggestion though-- I appreciate that you're trying! Big Grin

Move action: Moves to M-10 (unless in between is another 5 ft, in which case it's L-10)
Free Action (Part of Move): Tumble to avoid AoO: 17
Move to N-7, turning to face the two on the stairs as a free action.

I don't believe that you have enough Move left. You started at C-8, the stairwell itself is 5-feet. L-10 puts you at you max of 6 spaces (30 feet).
