The Modern Portion of the Artifact, originated with my love of Clive Cussler books. If you haven't read them, perhaps you've seen the movie SAHARA--

Just remember that this IS the prologue for the main adventure, This sets the show, so to speak. If any of your characters happen to die it is quite possible (with the likely exception of our 44 year old Allan Quartermain, for obvious reasons) that you won't be playing a decendent, unless by being a grandnephew. No one mentioned having any children in your write-ups, so unless you've got a bastard somewhere-- your line ends with you.

Basically, don't get too attached to any ideas just yet. A lot may happen in the game and out of the game. You gots plenty of time to make up your minds.  Smile

The tv show LOST, one of my great obsessions!  Big Grin

I found and added a new reference for WWII Reenactors that contains TONS of useful info for good Role-Playing.

Players of British and American characters, this pamphlet is for you.

Flay, here's something for you!

Thanks, I'll give it a good read this weekend Smile

And that kinda explains it, I never really followed Lost, just seen a few bits and pieces every now and then.

Please try to keep OOC discussions to this board. It will keep boards like the Rules & Guidelines much cleaner and easier to navigate in the future.

And since the OOC was speculating on my use of a Star Wars book... I wouldn't expect to recognize anything from it. It's purpose is flavor only, and with heavy coats of paint with the serial numbers files off.

Also Neull//, the version of this campaign that you are familiar with and the version we are running now are vastly different. Don't accidentally meta-game and ruin things for everyone else. Treat this material as if it is fresh, because my take on it sure is. I've had four years to rework this!

Grab yourself a copy of the Equipment book that I've been putting together. I use this in all of my games, now you can too!

EDIT:
Also, I have a question for you; Is everyone fine with everyone's speech colors?
I used blue and brown, strictly based on their suit colors. But in the future I will try to be mindful not top select the same color as any of the PCs.

I will try my best to be consistent with the quality of my posts, at least to keep you guys in the immersion of it all.

Weekends are freebie days, you don't have to post. If the rest of the group goes in one direction, it will be assumed for ease of gameplay , that your PC went with them. This is so you can go out of town, or have a job, or time to sleep, or to cuddle with a stuffed animal, or what have you.

I will be preparing a weekly re-cap of game events, that I will be posting somewhere. So later on, when you are trying to figure out which part of the game something happened in, you can find it quickly. And also as a quick chronicle of gaming events.

If you guys aren't real fond of all game props and stuff let me know. I can know what best to focus on. I personally like a lot of the extra bullshit, I think it helps me get into character better.

Sunday I will be off work all day, so if any wants to Yahoo Messenger me, I'll be around.

My last In-Game post gives you guys the leeway to discuss your plans before departing, and allows you to go your separate ways afterward.

Orino Perro, BTW isn't just around the corner. It's days inland. Of course, only people who've BEEN here before would know that. So stay in character.
