I'm back in Canada, but the job market here is flooded with applicants, and possibly replicants (you can never quite be sure). The Olympics are over, so everyone who had a temp job from that is looking for work, plus school is just finishing up, so we have all the students out there too. Hopefully I'll get something soon though.

My pc is on my pc tech buddy's work bench atm. In other news, Ronin and Heavyarms are setting an ambush for my players in my sunday tabletop isle noir. Hopefully a low speed golf cart chase. Hilarity.
Hahaha, grenade launcher-revolver is win for this! Hope you get some work man; here in SF, friends of mine have been months now, and there's just nothing. Makes you wonder...

Here's the set up:
Heavy and Ronin; awaiting the two Brazilians have set up an ambush in the front car of a subway.
The pcs will enter the last car, make their way fore. H&R will have an IED that will detonate at the rear of the party and then H&R will open fire from behind cover in front of the party.
H&R will disengage as soon as they see that they 2 are facing 8 pcs.
They will drop a smoke grenade in the players path, and escaPe out the front hatch. Where R&H's golf cart is awaiting.
H is the driver and R will have to shoot. H can try to use the g launcher, but is at minuses for driving.
Hot Pursuit rules are in use... As well as the On Foot expansion. The cart is faster than those onfoot, but not too fast.
Should be a good chase encounter.

I gave 4e two chances, and both times some unnecessarily changed game mechanic and/or fluff made me want to bash my head on the table. I'll stick with the 3.5/Pathfinder/d20M/SWSE, thanks.

Just an FYI my fiancee is almost at 4cm dilation so she will be going into labor any time now. If she hasn't begun labor by Monday they will be inducing her. So needless to say i may be a bit slow in posting and probably incoherent due to sleep deprivation.
