"I said alive, not unharmed."  Teela replies with a smirk.

"Thank you for your time, mighty Jabba." Jayce nods before turning around and starting to walk to the exit of Jabba's throneroom.

Teela eyes the others and begins to follow them out, nodding to the droid on her way past.

eager to stop looking over his sholder every few seconds, Rassk makes for the door.

The Twi'lek majordomo appears silently and leads the small group back through the passageways of the palace without a word. As before, the only noises to be heard are the echoing footsteps of the party and dripping water. At one point, the Twi'lek halts the group wordlessly. Moments later, a spider-like droid with spindly legs and a bulbous center section passes by, ignoring the group, and the majordomo beckons them onwards. The trip to the door is otherwise uneventful, and upon reaching the large slab of metal, the majordomo activates the controls without pause. His face remains impassive as the door retracts into the ceiling, and he indicates wordlessly that the party should show themselves out.

As soon as she steps outside, Teela stops and turns to face Chido.  "Who was it that you said kidnapped the ambassador?  The CIS?  They have a base of operations in the area?"

"As far as I know, they do not. However, I have a contact who might know a bit about anything the CIS have been doing...he works in the Mos Eisley spaceport." Chido fumbles in his pockets for a second before handing Teela a data card. "His contact information's on this. If you want to send him a comm or visit him in person, that should help. If you don't mind, though, I need a lift back there myself. I'll have to lay low if the CIS are keeping an eye out for me."

After briefly looking over the information on the datapad, Teela pockets it and turns to the others.  "Should we arrange for a meeting in a secure location, or should we just drop in unannounced?"

"Well, dropping in unannounced does give us the element of surprise.

We should check out the location beforehand though, to make sure we don't take on more than we can handle." Jayce replies while he walks over to his speederbike.

[BowenSilverclaw]

"You guys ready to go? We're wasting time here." Jayce sarcastically remarks before fully opening the throttle and darting of into the distance with Chido, as his passenger, hanging on for dear life.

Apart from a single potshot from a Tusken Raider, the return trip to Mos Eisley goes as smoothly as could be expected.

The city seems no different than normal, despite the earlier firefight. Then again, cantina fights are common in the Outer Rim, and local authorities aren't willing to get involved unless there's a guilty party present who looks like an easy mark.

Several streets away from the address on Teela's datacard, Chido slips off the speeder bike. "This is where I leave you. I'll be out of touch for some time. You stay safe, Jayce."

"Thanks for all the help so far, Chido. Remind me to buy you a drink when we meet again. Jayce says as Chido gets of.

"So, where's that contact of Chido, Teela?" he then asks the blue-skinned Twi'lek girl.
