To save that much money? Id be a sly debonair, self important, flamboyant ugly gay man in pink armor that I refuse to take off (cause its so prettiful with those rhinestones and the glitter) that is kind to his fellows.
Ugly in attitude, not in appearance. Can't be kind and ugly to a person at the same time. Therefore, obviously they cancel each other out! Or...an excuse to be annoyingly socially bi-polar. Hmm...

A gygaxian dungeon is like the world's most messed up game show.
Behind door number one: INSTANT DEATH! Behind door number 2: A magic crown! Behind door number 3: 4d6 giant bees, and THREE HUNDRED POUNDS OF HONEY! They don't/haven't, was the point. 3.5 is as dead as people not liking nice tits.
Sometimes, their tits (3.5) get enhancements (houserules), but that doesn't mean people don't like nice tits.
Though sometimes, the surgeon (DM) botches them pretty bad...
Best metaphor I have seen in a long time. I give you much fu. Three Errata for the Mage-kings under the sky, Seven for the Barbarian-lords in their halls of stone, Nine for Mortal Monks doomed to die, One for the Wizard on his dark throne In the Land of Charop where the Shadows lie.

The Tooth of Savnok is also a source of infinite arrow dust, so long as you don't mind the painful sensation of ripping arrows out of your skin.

...explain to me why you would want infinite arrow dust?

...In case you were captured and had your magic items stripped except they neglected to remove your tooth cause its attached to you and then you were dumped into a pit, then you can make a mountain of sawdust.
Happens all the time.

That if you're more tsuntsun than deredere? Then hilarity ensues.I seriously cannot read the word Tsundere without thinking of that series. It beats Negima and Love Hina to the punch.

Some of the Teeth of Dahlver-Nar from Tome of Magic have really cheap effects and they dont take up item slots, like
Savnok: You move at your normal speed even when wearing medium or heavy armor or when carrying a medium or heavy load (unlike other creatures, whose speed is reduced in such situations). Faint transmutation; CL 5th; Price 2,000 gp.
Eligor: You gain a +4 enhancement bonus to Strength. Moderate transmutation; CL 10th; Price 16,000 gp.
Ipos: You gain a +4 enhancement bonus to Intelligence. Moderate transmutation; CL 10th; Price 16,000 gp.
Marchosias: You gain a +4 enhancement bonus to Charisma. Moderate transmutation; CL 10th; Price 16,000 gp.
Paimon: You gain a +4 enhancement bonus to Dexterity. Moderate transmutation; CL 10th; Price 16,000 gp.
Normally nonslot items cost twice the Gp, so these are a steal if you are strapped for slots.
Don't the rules in MiC state that for stat enhancing items, there aren't any extra costs?

On page 132 to 136 of complete champion, there are special holy symbols that I think deserve mentioning.
One could buy a symbol of Kord, for as little as 350 gold, and all your transmutation spells will be at +1 caster level. Very useful at semi-low levels.

Rod of Bodily Restoration and Orb of Mental Renewal, both in the MIC. Between 8 and 16 points of ability damage healed per day, each. Invaluable if your DM doesn't mind throwing you up against some of the more jackass opponents (Undead, in particular, have a knack for ability damage). They might not be that valuable in a general campaign, but if it comes up often, they're very nice things to have around, and at 3100 gp each, they're not too heavy on the wallet.
EDIT: Also, have I lobbied for the addition of some of the Amber Amulets of Vermin? Specifically the Giant Stag Beetle. It loses its awesome fairly quickly because it's just a tank-summoner item, but when you can first afford it there's no better way of making the Fighter cry. And, at its caster level, it ain't gettin' dispelled.

I've been trying to figure out where to put these. Are they, properly speaking, magic items?

Two of my favorite items not on the list:
Ring of Anticipation- 8500gp for +2 (competence) to Spot and Listen, and you get to roll twice for initiative, taking the better of the two. A steal for the latter effect.
Psychoactive Skin of Proteus- 84000gp. While not exactly a cheap item, constant Metamorphosis (improved polymorph) is nothing to sneeze at, even if it's only ML 7. You could pay for a higher ML, I suppose.

Where is the ring from?

Yeah I think they are mundane items that grant a benefit to something magic. Perhaps under non-magical tools or just misc tools?

Adding Raptor's Mask (MIC 210) to the list of recommendations. +5 untyped to spot, but more importantly "renders you immune to effects that would leave you blinded or dazzled". Stuff like "holy word". A steal at 3500, and the rest of the phoenix set ain't half bad.

Only if you fall into the category where you can be blinded. It is a rather nice set, though.

I am constantly amazed by how many DM's ban Tomb of Battle. The book doesn't even exist! Quotes: By yes, she means no.
That explains so much about my life. hiicantcomeupwithacharacterthatisntaghostwhyisthatamijustretardedorsomething
Why would you even do this? It hurts my eyes and looks like you ate your keyboard before suffering an attack of explosive diarrhea. If using Genesis to hide your phylactry, set it at -300 degrees farenheit. See how do-gooders fare with a liquid atmosphere.
